I need to rewatch the lindyhop dancing but it seemed pretty crap compared to previous -athons

Just finished watching - omg, Shirley was a total embarrassment when Bruno is the voice of reason, you know you are screwed

Ashley was loads better in the rehearsal room. Far more bounce.

I think the standard of dancing is much lower than it has been in previous years. Apart from the ringers (who I am no fan of), the remaining five are either bad or average. Usually they are of a better standard by this point?

Did you see the judges comments with Charles, Karen and Tess. Looked like Charles had his hand on Tess’s bum!

Kevin had brilliant shaping and spanish bullfighter posture but he made Tracey look worse. Particularly her arms should not have been straight but curved with one arm up and the other waist height . Her footwork at times reminded me of a bull charging and her body expression was nil.
I was disappointed as expected more from her.

Charles' very long legs and body does not help with the tango and I thought Karen looked daggers at him afterwards or perhaps she was too tired.

Lauren I was pleasantly surprised with and she gave more Welly than ever before.

Disappointed with Jo and Diane's dance.
Faye and Ashley as expected .

Oh, I hope Karen is ok.

I dislike fake Ashley more each week!

Best dance tonight? Faye’s waltz or Kevin’s paso. Thought Joe was good but overmarked.

I went to vote but missed it. Distracted by funny Michael m I like Faye. She's genuinely enjoying it while seeming not to be too obvs a ringer. Can't warm to Ashley but have warmed to Faye when didn't expect too.

I fear for Charles tonight. If he’s in the DO I think he’ll go home.

I just watched it back, Karen seemed really out of breath even still at the end of the scoring bit with Claude. Perhaps she's unwell? Or a panic attack?

There was definitely something up with Karen tonight. No smiles, just looked fed up during and after the dance

She was smiling, but fake smiling, and seemed very out of breath

I am still laughing ... the balls up Lindyhop ... Joe and the balls .... Stacey’s Catherine Tate Paso with ‘talk to the hand’ ... I was entertained

Loved the judges shouting 'don't crash into each other' repeatedly at the dancers, then having the mother of all car crashes in when it came to giving the scores.

As an aside - does Shirley now think she is actually Joe's Nan ? because she's marking him as if she is.

I hope Karen is ok too. I’ve not really been her biggest fan through the years but it’s hard to watch someone be so deflated. I really hope she’s just a bit under the weather or something.

I usually have a higher tolerance of Tess' inanity (I think I just dont listen!) but even I balked at her calling him a 'polite young man'

Oh and I also wasn’t totally in love with S&K paso - I thought there were weird hip hop ish movements in there that looked as though they’d come from their couples choice. I was impressed with how they covered the floor though.

I voted 3 times for Charles even though his dance was shite. And for 'am I bovvered' Stacey. Bugger off Ashley!
