Full of flue and have the house to myself

Not even going to get ready today, just snuggle on sofa watching 'comfort' tv with box of tissues and Day Nurse

Any suggestions if I like:

I'm enjoying "Community" on All4 at the moment.

flumpybear · 17/11/2018 14:13

Film - black butterfly if you like roller coaster thrillers!

werekitty · 17/11/2018 14:13

North and South, outlander, pride and prejudice

userofthiswebsite · 17/11/2018 14:16

I watched the new BBC series Informer (6 episodes) on iPlayer.
It was one of the best things I've seen in some time.

AesopsMables · 17/11/2018 14:54

Will try Outlander next I think.

Just on my second film but not really able to get hooked on anything just yet.

Agree The Informer was v good!

No ads today as keep nodding off and when they come on they are so bloody loudAngry

Thanks for your comments all, if there is anything Gentle and amusing without ads!! then keep them coming as I am really feeling sorry for myself today Brew

I miss Bonus Family

Film 4?

snozzlemaid · 17/11/2018 14:57

Yes, yes. Go for Outlander.
Hours of bliss ahead of you. No better way to spend a day on the sofa.

MaMisled · 17/11/2018 14:58

Another vote for Informer.

AesopsMables · 17/11/2018 14:58

Film 4 has ads though doesn't it?

I have Netflix and Prime - no sky

Think I have exhausted iPlayerGrin

Just started Outlander

Love the cinematography already. Even though Caitriona Balfe's beautiful complexion makes my grey tired face look even worse.

I did this on Thursday with tonsillitis! Basically binged the whole of Killing Eve, it was great! Hope you feel better soon :)

SinkGirl · 17/11/2018 15:18

Okay...

If you haven’t seen it yet, The Good Place on Netflix is perfect. Or if you want something a bit darker, The Sinner or Mindhunter.

Sneaky Pete on Prime is brilliant. Billions too if it’s still on there.

Or if you like documentaries you could binge The Staircase or Making A Murderer on Netflix.

JustDanceAddict · 17/11/2018 15:22

Killing Eve
Man in the High Castle - first series

AesopsMables · 17/11/2018 15:30

Did Killing Eve when first shown - loved it

Outlander seems a bit slowHmmwill persevere though as patience isn't my forte.

IHaveBrilloHair · 17/11/2018 16:11

Unforgotten if you haven't seen it.
3 series, bloody brilliant.

Florabella · 17/11/2018 16:15

Stick with outlander - the first couple of episodes are slower, setting the scene, but it is fab!!

LadyMarmyLard · 17/11/2018 18:24

There's a series on Prime called Unreal- easy watching and a bit different (it's about the crew that make shows like the bachelor/love island and manipulating the contestants).
It's a guilty pleasure.

Does anyone know where I can get the latest series of This is Us?
I know it was shown on 4 but it's disappeared now.. Sad

Heratnumber7 · 17/11/2018 18:29

Nurse Jackie
Life in pieces
Killing Eve

Marmite27 · 17/11/2018 18:35

Free 30 day trial on Netflix and watch The Crown, Sabrina or Orange is the New Black.

AnotherEmma · 17/11/2018 18:39

If you've never watched Grey's Anatomy it's perfect for filling a weekend on the sofa, very watchable and addictive! It's on Prime.

AnotherEmma · 17/11/2018 18:40

Or the Good Wife (again if you haven't already watched it)

ChampooPapi · 17/11/2018 20:59

Trust on iplayer! its brilliant

AesopsMables · 18/11/2018 08:08

Day 2 - I still feel shocking so not getting out of bed today.

Unfortunately I didn't stick with Outlander as it was v slow, however I may dip into it again today

Totally recommend 2 French films I watched though!

Blind Date (think Amelie) very easy and cute
Nothing To Hide (black comedy) couples dinner party which goes horribly wrong
