I'm looking forward to Faye and Giovanni's Tango, I love a Tango and I like that Blondie song too. I hope they don't completely murder it when they sing it on the night. I think Danny and Amy's Quickstep might be good, although he struggles a bit with ballroom so the in hold bits might not work so well. Joe's Paso could go either way, he really tries and he puts in the hours so he'll get the choreography right, but I'm not convinced that he can pull off the macho posturing.

The ones that I think could be a bit cringey are Ranj's Samba, because so many Sambas have ended up looking like bad, bouncey, Dad dancing. And while I think Stacey would do a great street/commercial under normal circumstances I worry that she either won't be able to do it at all with her injury or it will have to be toned down to something quite simple and boring. I'm not sure about Kate's Argentine Tango either, it'll either be great and full of sex appeal like her Foxtrot or it'll be a bit lumpy and not spikey enough. She's almost as tall as Aljaz so I don't think he'll be able to do much in the way of spectacular lifts.

I want some fancy lifts this weekend (I know it's often a cop out but oh well), and yes Joe being macho enough for the Paso without being campy will be interesting.
Ranj doing the Samba I agree, can imagine too much gimmick, not enough proper dancing technique.

Another street dance will be interesting to see to, see what type of moves they do in comparison to Charles.

I am looking forward to Faye's tango as I also like "Call me", but I am worried that the singers will do to the song what they did to "Thriller".

I hope Stacey manages ok, but even if she ends up at the bottom of the leader board, I'm pretty sure she's popular enough not to be in the dance off.

Aljiaz has never done an Argentine Tango with any of his partners so it will be interesting to see the first Argentine Tango of the season, but Kate hasn't been great over the last couple of weeks.

I really like Oti and Graeme together but he wasn't very good last week so I hope he has a better dance this week.

Giovanni always does great tangos. Even when he had Laura Whatshername and she was only an average dancer and she had an ankle injury and the two of them hated each others' guts, it was still a fab tango. Although, now that I think about it, hating each others' guts might improve a tango, it adds a frisson of anger and passion.

Dani didn't say a word on the panel on ITT. What was the point of her?

I feel like Rufus Hound could be one of us watching ITT tonight.

Isn't Frankie gorgeous, even wearing a velour sack she looked stunning. I wish I had her skin and cheekbones.

Stacey tore an intercostal muscle (ribs). You could see the huge bruise when she was doing the Friday rehearsal.

She was talking about it on ITT last night and as Americano says she tore an intercostal muscle. She was very funny. She’s very likeable.

OW, poor Stacey with her injury. Intercostal injuries are really painful, even breathing/standing up and sitting down. I think she'll be OK though; she's a trooper.

Stacey is definitely growing on me, also it does seem as KFG hasn’t been quite is normal insufferable self this series. He hasn’t annoyed me as much as he usually does, either that or I am mellowing in my old age🤔

When she left (the week after that tango, I think it was the dreaded samba) she did a leaving bit with Tess that involved thanking everybody, pros, other contestants, costume, make up etc and then at the very end said "Oh, and Giovanni too". He looked really pissed off and for a moment I thought we might see GBH on the dance floor, but he held it together and made a few lukewarm comments about her in return.

I don't know why I don't remember that. Usually I have a worryingly good memory for Strictly dramas.
