I don't understand the perception that Faye is cold. She comes over as really quite warm, and someone who doesn't take herself seriously. It was really quite funny this evening when she was joking about Giovanni's singing.

On the other hand, I find Ashley simply dull. Yes, she's a beautiful dancer by comparison with the others, but there is just nothing more to her.

I don’t get the perception of Faye being cold either, Volant. She’s very smiley and appears to be having a great time. I guess some people just want to say things against her for being a ringer.

I prefer Faye to Ashley also. I think Faye connects more to the dance than Ashley. Both beautiful dancers, but I ‘believe’ Faye more.

Coldnever Yes (except for the shagging bit) it wouldn't surprise me but I haven't noticed.

ellen I love Oti, Graeme's sweet, but the winner should be a woman this year, my money's on Stacey.

Curious, why ‘should be’ a woman. Surely the winner should be the best dancer, irrespective of gender/sex?

It should have been Lauren in the DO bless her, she's stayed far longer than she really ought to have done. I don't think she's loving it, she's struggling and way out of her depth.

I can't stand Snean - even without his public humiliation fo his gf, he's a bit of a slime and I can't see the love for him.

Reading about other winners and their crap treatment of spouses/sexual partners makes me very aware that most of the time we only ever see what they want us to see. I thought that Joe was a lovely, cheeky, amiable lad - and it transpires that he is a vindictive bully etc.

I suppose that all our idols have feet of clay.

Oh Ha ha ha (hollow laughter) Did you see last year's final? There were 3 women ALL better than the Joe who won (or some odd reason). I've become very cynical about SCD it just doesn't seem to work as it should.

I thought Danny was fab. There is quite a gap occurring now with the good dancers/improvers and the bit rubbish/can’t get any better folk.

Agree ppeat - its really lost it's sparkle.

Crappy costumes, ridiculous routines, tediously embarrassing Its, no DAHNCE at all in most instances.

I only watch for the après-Strictly (ie you irreverent and hilarious lot!). Also - I like to make fun of the judges hair and frocks and Bruno being off his face most all of the time.

I think it’s the first year I can remember where the worst dancer is actually being voted off each week. Makes a nice change and puts pressure on the better and proving dancers.

My finalists are Ashley, Joe and Stacey and Stacey to win.

Brendan definitely has a point about what Joe Suggs was wearing. The braces and cap look definitely didn't go with the lovely evening dress.

I think Faye will get to the final rather than Joe.

Thing is ppeatfruit, nobody wanted Debbeh or Alex to win because they’re ringers and Gemma just wasn’t good enough.

Hope people don't think the "vindictive " Joe being mentioned on here is the lovely Joe Suggs! That should be made clearer.

Yes I'm getting very cynical about SCD. It doesn't work logically and fairly and ratings seem to be the priority.

I wanted Vick to be saved. From day one she seemed a natural and has great potential. Her dance off was better than Seann's who made mistakes. I think Craig is the only judge with integrity. Have tried to like Shirley but I don't trust her.

I wanted Debbie to win!

There was a strange costume situation between Joe and Dianne a few weeks ago. They put him in a really edgy outfit and her in one of those dates shimmy numbers. I didn’t understand that.

Thanks for clarifying Clawdy, I'm just reading for first time and was pretty surprised.

However, speaking of Joe - lordy do Tess and Claudia baby him! Yes, he's young. But my word they talk to him like he's a precocious 10 year old. Really patronising stuff - I thought I caught a flicker of annoyance cross his face yesterday when yet again he was spoken to like a fluffy kitten. He'll never pull off a more serious dance if they build up an "aww, ain't he cute?!" persona around him.

That's what happens when you leave it to the public, most of whom haven't a clue about dancing. It's a popularity contest.

Gemma was better than last year's Joe though, he was Meh! THIS years Joe Suggs is good, to be fair Claude and esp. Tess patronise and speak down to EVERYONE!!!

Oh and I don't understand why they can't have a drink of water when they've finished their dances. They used to.
