It was so sad! I was a bit tearful. But then I cried three times at Dr Who last Saturday, so don't mind me.

re Dr Who, I cried at the bit when they saw the life they were sacrificing - the bit with the baby made me absolutly sob. Then when he said goodbye to the boy and the war bit (the first world war always makes me cry) and the bit at the end with the old soldier at the war memorial.

I absolutely ADORE Amanda. She's so fast and funny. And so pretty too. It's a really unusual combination in comedy, for some reason.

One thing I didn't get - since they are in New York, why was Alexis driving along a winding dark country road to get Daniel to a hospital - unless it was so they could meet the prison van?

Glad that the Betty/Henry story is not yet over....

If Amanda is the adopted child of (can't remember her name - was killed by Claire) then is her father Bradford and will she also be an heir of Mead Publications? I hope so.

It was a good episode, that dr who one. Psychic boy was v good as was the scary family of blood, sniffing boy. Now I think about it was v affecting for anyone, be they pregnant menopausal or neither.
