She wasn't being offensive, he's just causing an issue over nothing. She wasn't saying it because he's got "brown" skin (his words not mine), she was saying it to make him look ill, I don't think she was even thinking about his skin colour. The turban thing is dodgy though

I think Hardeep thinks he is disliked for racist reasons rather than for the fact he is totally up his own arse and monumentally tedious.

My views of Sally may be coloured by the fact that I can't stand her. But there is no way Sally doesn't know what a turban is called or that it has religious and cultural significance. It is not to be used as a bandage prop.

Hardeep is the only person in there who comments negatively on someone's race - when he told Ryan he didn't look ethnic enough even though he is part-Indian.

It is not racist to not understand the cultural significance of it though. Ignorance isn't racism. And it wasn't racist to say about the talc.

I have lived as a foreigner in a country with a totally different culture to the UK one. I know what it is to be discriminated against. This is not what is happening to Hardeep. He is looking for offence in everything, they can't win.
