She's been getting away with this behaviour for too long - that much was obvious from this interview. "My friends and family know how sensitive I am". This translates to me that she has a group of people around her who she can easily manipulate.

Its interesting that these people do surround themselves with people who they know they can manipulate. Ben was one in the house and she made a total beeline for him - I was confused when I heard her talking about this 'connection' she had with him, it seemed too soon. But it makes sense, she knew he was malleable and could use him as one of her Flying Monkeys.

She has found herself in a place she is unused to. A place where people call her out on her behaviour and see her for what she is. How unfortunate

Dickybow321 · 03/09/2018 10:43

Perez Hilton showed tweeted about a tweet from a management company who used to represent Roxanne. The company was asked to confirm if they intend to continue representing her. Their reply was : We haven't represented her in over a year. We recognise the person everyone is seeing now. Best wishes to Ryan and his family. Shock

MarthasGinYard · 03/09/2018 10:43

'My friends and family know how sensitive I am". This translates to me that she has a group of people around her who she can easily manipulate.'

Absolutely this

When she was filming on the train she said her mum was sat next to her.

Which to me made it even more odd if that's possible

MarthasGinYard · 03/09/2018 10:46

They must facilitate all this crap to a degree

MarthasGinYard · 03/09/2018 10:47

Dicky

Yes I saw that

Geordiegirl1988 · 03/09/2018 10:48

I really think be should play this interview into the house to show Ryan how much support he has

mooncuplanding · 03/09/2018 10:52

The genius of these narcissistic types is that they are so good at gaining sympathy. I feel a bit nervous about her under this sort of pressure right now - will she have a total breakdown? Harm herself?

It's such a tough one. I feel bad for criticising her on one hand because I do not want to bring harm to another person then on the more rational side, I feel like she is a very nasty person only out to bring harm to others and she deserves it and you cannot let behaviour like this pass without it being addressed.

Thing is, she knows this about me and all the other people who are verging on sympathy for her, and absolutely plays on this. I thought she did a sterling textbook job of this on the interview

She'll be straight on social media to check this out (despite her claims) and will have amended it to whatever it needs for tonight's interview

MarthasGinYard · 03/09/2018 10:52

If I was a Dr, Cab driver, even her bloody optician

I'd INSIST on a chaperone every encounter.

DaisyTwirl · 03/09/2018 10:56

Alistair Campbell pissed me right off.
He placed her squarely into victim role where she's most comfortable.
Believed her based on meeting her before the show & her interview & fell for her well-honed act.

She got off v v lightly in that interview 🙄

RainySeptember · 03/09/2018 11:01

Hahaha Alistair Campbell is the new Ben. What a gullible dickhead.

NewUserNameTime · 03/09/2018 11:03

I still feel so angry & frustrated with this woman. She definitely has been coached & told to say these things. Well done Jamelia

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 03/09/2018 11:04

I think that what Jamelia said was spot on, and I wish (sorry, Jamelia) that she was able to articulate it a little more clearly - that the sustained war that Roxanne waged against Ryan over several days, the way in which she gradually isolated him by allowing the story to spread among the men, the way she turned to the men and not the women, knowing that they would be far more sympathetic and protective, the way he was in tears with no idea of what he had done wrong - she victimised him in quite a terrifying way. I used to work with a colleague who was very similar: she was a similar build - very slight and fragile looking with the same huge eyes - and would always turn to the younger men for support in times of trouble (not the middle-aged women who worked most closely with her).

NewUserNameTime · 03/09/2018 11:05

Ps I'm guessing this is a practice for Emma & the CBB audience (tv audience as I'm sure it will be pre-recorded in an empty studio).

However I'm sure Emma will be similar to Jeremy in not being direct with her

RainySeptember · 03/09/2018 11:06

And a shit interview too. I'm sure they had to make some concessions in order to get her on, but it was hardly worth bothering.

Basically she was sensitive due to past (probably imaginary) abuse, affected by the pressure cooker atmosphere of the B.B. house, and 'made a mistake.'

She apologised but then went on to spew that obvious crap as justification. Sorry, not sorry.

And the panel comforting her due to the abuse she's getting on social media. This isn't like the Love Island kiss or any other trivia, it's a lot of people being furious that she told lies (there's a word she didn't use!) to ruin an innocent man, making it harder for DV victims to speak up. Would she have realised her massive overreaction if it hadn't been filmed?

TwistedStitch · 03/09/2018 11:08

It's very lucky it was filmed. Also she accused a well liked guy with a very supportive family and friends. Makes me wonder what would happen if she'd accused a less amicable guy of doing something off camera.

Chipstick10 · 03/09/2018 11:08

I am wondering if the ex colleagues who tweeted will tweet again after this interview

papayasareyum · 03/09/2018 11:13

I think Jeremy Vine has no choice but to adopt the softly softly approach. Coming so soon after the Kim Woodburn debacle on Loose Women, they couldn’t go in for a full on attack/interrogation. I don’t believe any of Roxanne’s bullshit. I don’t think she’s over sensitive or ‘overreeacted’ at all. I think it was a very deliberate, calculated attempt to take him down. She knew what she was doing.

RainySeptember · 03/09/2018 11:13

I got so bloody sick of hearing the same whitewashing words :

Sensitive
Overreaction
Feelings
Mistake

And the panel were useless. Did Alistair actually say that the previous colleagues who are speaking out are just 'jumping on the bandwagon'?

She also made a little joke to Alistair didn't she. He said he'd 'missed a few episodes' and she said, off camera, 'like a few years.'

papayasareyum · 03/09/2018 11:15

that’s he problem. To have an opinion on the incident, you need to actually watch the incident and the episodes after the incident. Which alistair bloody Campbell clearly hadn’t bothered to do.

JellieEllie · 03/09/2018 11:18

@Chipstick10 yes they already have been. I've seen at least 10 already from former co-stars still claiming she's a liar and not to fall for her blatant false apology.

4forkssake · 03/09/2018 11:20

Loving the '& cut' at the end. Very apt

Emma will be worse

She doesn't have the depth of knowledge required to deal with someone as manipulative as this because most normal people just don't get how horrific these people are

And of course Toxy will be even more primed after she has read the reactions to this interview. I would imagine she will actually be secretly revelling in the fact she is winning people over, and it will leak at some point during the interview

MarthasGinYard · 03/09/2018 11:26

She's really disliked so intensely
