It’s a bit silly that they’re all crying, Liverpool is less than 2 hours away. It’s not the North Pole!

I'm so happy Ross and Rebecca's had a happy ending. Though a little bit narked that in both cases the child stayed with the mother. However, I loved that Robert showed such kindness towards Rebecca, and was totally blubbing when Ross broke down and charity said he needed to go. As scarlett said, it was lovely to see each of them show sympathy for the others.

Really impressed with the development of Bob and Laurel's storyline. It seems so genuine, the slow realisation that life together hasn't turned out to be all the bells and whistles they thought during the rush of the initial affair.

I felt no sympathy for Aaron and hated the way he bullied Rebecca over the whole Seb situation. His whole attitude towards her was heartless and I'm glad Robert saw sense in the end.

I was in despair over the Laurel and Bob storyline but agree that her dawning realisation that it is a sham and finally, slowly feeling remorse for the way she treated Brenda is much more realistic.

Poor Seb. There he was yesterday offering Aaron his chewed-up food and tomorrow he will wake up in a strange place. I could cry. Glad to see the back of Rebecca but I'll miss Ross.

Rebecca has been much more likeable since her brain injury. And even Lachlan couldn't bring himself to kill her despite killing the rest of his family so she has her redeeming qualities. Her and Ross have been great together.

Tbh I don’t think Robert did make the sensible decision. Rebecca has a permanent brain injury and literally only a couple of months ago was the victim of a kidnapping, false imprisonment and attempted murder which she has had no counselling for. She’s also in a really new relationship with a Man who weeks ago got so coked up whilst caring for his son that he collapsed and his child wandered off. Add to that the stress of suddenly being full time Mum to Seb when until now she’s only had him for short periods with someone supervising, shes in a strange city with no support or friends other than a nanny she has just met while ross is out at his new job all day. I can see that going wrong very quickly. I think it’s too much too soon. They sensible thing would have been for her to build up her caring responsibilities for Seb gradually surrounded by the people who know her and know what support she needs. Then when she’s in the swing of it, move to join ross.

I agree Eastie about Aaron. I knew Ross was leaving yesterday but wasn't sure about Rebecca and I expected him to emotionally blackmail her at the last minute into staying or giving Seb to him and Robert. I've never liked him or Robron.

IStandWithPosie agree if this was real life. But this is soapland and I think Seb leaving was done for more practical reasons. Babies are nearly always invisible on soaps, must be all sorts of rules about them being on set - and lets face it, storyline they're boring and limiting (even if they're cute). So no baby = easier life for writers. Seb was only ever a plot device so Aaron could discover Robert's affair. I think Aaron will now be more keen than ever to start a family which will test their relationship and allow emmedale an "issue" storyline of surrogacy.

It was one night and he was so drunk and upset and Rebecca rushed over there abandoning her date with Ross. She couldn't wait to get her hands on him. Robert told Aaron everything himself before it came out. I hated that whole storyline but like Aaron came to love Seb (because of Lily). I know Lily has to go because she's a girl but I'll miss her spot-on reactions.

I've seen people suggest they could adopt a little girl next year as a way to get Lily back I'd love that!

Rob didn't remember having sex with Rebecca, and she was regularly having sex with Ross at the time. I never understood why they didn't have a paternity test.

Yes, why hasn't anyone questioned whether Ross is Seb's dad? Particularly Ross as surely he must know he was with Rebecca at the same time.

It's ridiculous they way they glossed over all that. Mind you I don't think Charity ever got a DNA test for Moses either and Ross just accepted that he was his.

How do you all remember all these details? I have have very little memory of anything Rebecca related beyond her having Seb and Robert being his dad!
