X FACTOR 2018- **SAT Sept 1st 8pm** it really IS that time of year again! There are new judges, probably a format and it's Saturday night (and the occasional Sunday) sorted until December :-)

I have just been reminded it starts this weekend- I'm in denial.

I'm not sure about the new judges. I think I will miss Nicole. Maybe not Louis. But we have a New Replacement Louis. I don't like Robbie Williams, and having his wife there might be a mistake.

So- first thread of the year. I will be back when I have had a proper look at what is happening this weekend.

Mind you, Alexander Burke came back and won it so I’ll leave it there.

Louis T has totally exceed my expectations of him. He seems genuinely lovely.

From what I gathered he paid for rehab well before they asked him back to X factor.

Another mediocre show. Yet to hear something that is actually really decent,

Which begs the question - has the talent dried up

Louis is lovely but the overuse of ‘lad’ and ‘love’ is already grinding on me!

I love that wee guy. So glad to see him back and so lovely of Louis to help him.

I love Robbie. Always did. He is coming across genuinely nice, caring and honest.

Never liked Ayda though. Not just cause she's married to Robbie but I agree, mentioning Robbie in every comment is annoying. And the kissing and hugging. She needs to go. And when she gets her own category...hows that even going to work?

Not only is Louis the best looking on the panel, he's also apparently the nicest.

Bet Robbie and Ayda are fuming.

I liked NIcole. She was good value. And actually, knew what she was talking about. Even if it didn't always seem like it .

I just can't warm to Ayda at all.
Her voice & bloody fake face drain me.

So why would Louis pay for some random bloke to go in rehab? Do you think Louis was with him getting off his tits and sent him back down druggie path and now feels guilty?

At first i thought that Louis wouldnt be that good, but he isnt bad at all and seems really nice and normal.
i would want to be in his ' gang' if i were on it.
Ayda will need a lot of help mentoring her ones.
Robbie will make it all about him as usual and Si will just be Si and not really care that much.

I think the new judges have reinvigorated it tbh. Louis Walsh and Sharon were getting a bit tired IMO. Robbie and Louis were both massive pop stars and understand what it’s like to become hugely famous at a young age and all the pressures fame can bring. I guess with Robbie’s wife, they will have a voice coach to do the actual work with them?

I think I've turned into an old misery. I'm fed up of seeing returnees. And my first thought about the guy from Liverpool was that being shot into the world of showbiz might not be the best place for him. And j didn't think he was that good. Once again the stories, not the voices, get people through.

And Robbie and Ayda are awful.

I think I'll be watching the dancing this year!
