So I've watched American Horror Story, Stranger Things, making a murderer and watching another crime files/murder enquiry thing now (I forget the name) with my DP but want something I can watch on my own. My body clock is all wrong at the moment so I want something I can watch while he snoozes!

In the past I've watched Lost, Desperate Housewives, GOT, THe Walking Dead and I'm sure there's others.

Don't want anything too gory or anything too chick flicky...what do you recommend?

Thanks!

Offspring!! I hate girly chick flick type stuff - I'd say it's a bit girly but I love it !

I’ve just finished watching Safe. Loved it.

Spartak · 29/07/2018 01:43

I’m 11 episodes into the Staircase which is a crime/trial real life series that you might like if you enjoyed Making a Murderer. It’s a tiny bit gory in places but not too bad. I still don’t know how it’s going to end with 2 episodes to go.

KlutzyDraconequus · 29/07/2018 01:45

Anne with an E

Charming, gentle, witty and intelligently written. It's a fab show.

Spartak · 29/07/2018 01:45

I also really enjoyed Cable Girls.

mydogisthebest · 30/07/2018 07:20

Me and DH watched all of Safe over the weekend and we both enjoyed it

Cheesymonster · 30/07/2018 07:48

People vs oj Simpson had me gripped.

iamawoman · 30/07/2018 07:54

Definately ozarks and mindhunter .

NoProbLlama78 · 30/07/2018 07:56

I really enjoyed Glitch. Slightly gory and violent but nothing if you've watched the walking dead. It's very tense.

lunar1 · 30/07/2018 08:01

Shadowhunters

shirleyschmidt · 30/07/2018 08:04

Definitely choose Line of Duty!!

Once Upon A Time.....

My DC started watching this and I sat with them through the pilot episode to see if it was appropriate or their ages. Eldest 13 and youngest 8.
Couldn't believe how great the storyline is.
We are now on season 3 (yep I watch it with them. Been ages since I have been into any drama) and it s Absolutely awesome how they keep going into backstory when a new plot is unveiled. How they manage to add so much in without viewers getting confused. My 8yr old has to ask sometimes to explain or to confirm and it puts a whole new kick into fairy tales which is what I find so fascinating.

JoyTheUnicorn · 30/07/2018 08:41

Designated Survivor is brilliant.

Ca55andraMortmain · 30/07/2018 08:44

I really enjoyed The Good Place and will add another vote for the people Vs oj Simpson. I've been enjoying queer eye as well but that might not be your cup of tea based on the other things you say you've enjoyed.
