Netflix recommendations please?

So I've watched American Horror Story, Stranger Things, making a murderer and watching another crime files/murder enquiry thing now (I forget the name) with my DP but want something I can watch on my own. My body clock is all wrong at the moment so I want something I can watch while he snoozes!

In the past I've watched Lost, Desperate Housewives, GOT, THe Walking Dead and I'm sure there's others.

Don't want anything too gory or anything too chick flicky...what do you recommend?

Line of Duty and Sherlock. Arrested development is brilliant (up until the reboot series where the shark sort of gets jumped).

Santa Clarita Diet.
Suburban mum who turns undead starts eating the neighbours. Good cast, dark humour, Drew Barrymore and another big name.

Designated Survivor started off good but I think it's lost it a little.

Spotless is good and a nice British story about a middle class man who gets involved with gangsters.

Almost forgot my favourite! Weeds. Very addictive suburban mum turns weed dealer to keep her family after DH sudden death. There's oodles of seasons too, to keep you going.

Try izombie it's not gory more of an easy to watch and funny. The actors are great in it and not too many episodes per season! Also try black mirror but I would skip the first episode as the rest are so much better!

Just finished watching Colony - would recommend it.

I watched Safe! Watched it in two days haha brilliant! Definitely recommend that to anyone. Also watched the first episode of The Staircase...my DP and I found it a bit boring...does it get better? Is it worth sticking with it?

I keep forgetting Happy Valley is on there, watch that.

Good Girls was a brilliant series, only 10 episodes so not too long, I watched the whole thing in 2 days and have to say I'm not usually one to get into a series!

Also Santa Clarita Diet is the only other series I've finished very quickly! Very good.

You have similar taste to me OP, I enjoyed all of the things you listed.

Have you tried Black Mirror? I loved it. I also recently enjoyed The Good Place, easy watching with great characters and it's only 20 or so minutes an episode so it's worth giving it a try.

I also needed this thread at the moment as have run dry. I'm going to try Santa Clarita Diet and Glow I think.

We are really enjoying The Colony - less about aliens and more about how human beings treat each other under a repressive regime. Plus it has the hunky guy from Lost.
