ah, singles, not doubles ! I am old enough to remember watching Pancho Gonzales and Charlie Passerell (sp) - they had to stand at the umpires stand at change over Grin
Poor Rafa and Novak
Mind you, don't you think whoever wins this one is going to be so worn out they are bound to lose the final?

ladymelbourne1926 · 13/07/2018 19:05

Would someone just win!

Raahh · 13/07/2018 19:07

book I have a feeling Isner in particular will be affected if he wins this.

Anderson appears to have more stamina.

Is this still Friday?

Raahh · 13/07/2018 19:09

Donkey it might be.

Not sure what year though.

If Isner did not have his serve, he would be a gonna now. He's shattered.

But it wouldn't have got this far either, I suppose.

Oh my, this match is so tedious that I may have just had a little nap. Don't they know there's another match to follow, the one we all want to see? Grrr.

Raahh · 13/07/2018 19:16

Now, I watch the US open , and stay up for hours.

But not usually after something like this.

And the longer they are still playing , the less time the other's will get to play, regardless of the roof. And it takes half an hour to shut the bloody thin Grin.

Is it Christmas yet?

Raahh · 13/07/2018 19:17

Is there any hope?

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 13/07/2018 19:20

🤣

Raahh · 13/07/2018 19:20

I could have queued up for a Build a Bear in the time this has taken. Grin

I feel like whining - 'are we nearly there yet?'

Raahh · 13/07/2018 19:21

But it's ok now...

And Isner chews his towel.

OMG I've gone away and watched Emmerdale and it's still not over!!

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 13/07/2018 19:30

Just threw Cornish pasties in the oven and there might be salad if I can be bothered gourmet night.

Raahh · 13/07/2018 19:31

Sue - the people on the hill are not enjoying it.

They are bored senseless probably, and have numb arses.

DramaAlpaca · 13/07/2018 19:32

I've had enough of this, I'm off to walk the dogs. Hopefully it'll be over when I get back I bet it's not

Raahh · 13/07/2018 19:32

Drama it probably won't be. Grin

Have they got enough racquets for this ?

This can't keep going on, surely?

I've just taken 2 of my sons friends home and they are still going!
At what time do you think they will not start the second semi tonight?

Raahh · 13/07/2018 19:35

I wonder if they sent some off for re-stringing 3 days ago a couple of hours ago?
