Georgia grabbed Jack back for the second attempt, she absolutely did try it on.

Bizarre.....in what way is Dr Alex different in real life? And also who is coming across better than in real life (which is very interesting).

So disappointed in the girls continuing to turn on each other. They’re so much stronger together. The boys seem to deal with these things much better and move on from them. No wonder they have most of the power in there.

Following on from Thread 8 @MrsFassy I don't see how they both lied.

Georgia said they kissed on the lips twice 'like a peck' That is what happened, What was she supposed to say. And for the record I think Laura is an idiot for prying into this as much as she has.

I actually think it would have been better if Georgia HAD lied and just vaguely said "nothing really happened"

Laura is ruining what she does have with Jack by going psycho and Ellie should have stayed completely out of it. I'm glad Dani stuck up for her because it's unacceptable to have a bunch ganging up on one person regardless of the situation. Georgia has done NOTHING compared to what Megan did and yet there was no ganging up there.

And all the way through Georgia has been the best most supportive one of all the girls whenever any of them have had a shit time Georgia was the one there for them.

i think Georgia isn't the best version of her right now, I'm not sure if the hurt from Josh has made her go a bit nuts but I think she has handled this situation with Laura tactlessly

@Bizarretortoise I think the reason the boys deal better is because they don't go digging and pry into things unnecessarily. And then they don't insist on talking it over and arguing 400 times about the same thing. That and they just let things go a damn sight faster.

I think she has lied, but I do wish Dani and Ellie had stayed out of it. Neither of them actually knows what went on.

Yes soup Laura has a right to feel like she’s been treated badly, but the way she reacts will put people off. She’s coming across as very high maintenance.

soup exactly! Though it must be hard not to behave like that as a group if there’s not much else going on there. The boys seem to make more of their own entertainment too.

It's the fact that she seems to have insisted on going over, what should be a very minor thing, again and again and again. Have the talk, gather info, process your feelings. Have a rant/shout/confrontation/cry as needed but then you have to let these things drop and move on.

@BarbraDear I think Dani's point in the first look video was that everyone was ganging up on Georgia but it takes 2 to kiss. So i think her point was just that if they're going to get mad they should be mad at both Jack and Georgia. but yes everyone else should back off.

@Bizarretortoise yes you're right that the boys create their own fun a bit more. I think that's because the girls are more concerned (sweeping generalisation) with how they look and being 'cool' and not being 'immature'. As an aside I tend towards the belief that the very people who obsess over things/people being 'immature' tend to be the ones who are immature themselves. They're so consumed with tyring to be 'grown up' that they haven't realised that being yourself and having fun is actually part of that.

Interestingly, Georgia is the only one of the girls who has joined in/created HER own fun.

It's always the girls going after each other's blokes and handling it badly. Laura doesn't handle this shit well at all.

I’m sorry I think Laura needs to get a grip. She keeps thinking she’s in serious relationships not on a gameshow with a bunch of show offs just out of their teens.

Laura has basically nuked the two couples she’s been in. Wes was determined to get away from her.

Georgia is essentially Shirley Temple tapdancing for as much attention as she can. Jack has been coupled with Laura for all of 5 mins and probably equally open to Georgia who is more his age.

They didn’t behave particularly well, but why would they?

and yes I think they get swept up into the drama because they've got sod all else to do (and the production team prod them in that direction)

I so so SO wish they'd give them a giant jenga and a quoits set or SOMETHING for them to do during the day. it's not like it would stop them talking.

someone asked on Thread 8 who else Georgia could have picked who wasn't in a happy couple - she could have taken Adam or Alex1, neither in a happy couple, and she said clearly she did not fancy anyone, so why not just take one of those 2? Because she was talking shit - she fancied Jack2 so wanted him for herself.

What has Laura done so far re Jack that has been "psycho"? I'd be livid if I thought I was in a cozy couple, only for a friend to take him on date then say they had a connection and then bleat on about being LOYAL.

Something tells me croquet would be more Alex’s thing

@BarbraDear saying too much (esp the latter would be very outing), but friend says Alex is very confident in real life. She’s worked with him though, so I suppose the interactions are different than LI! She said he’s a bit marmite though. Some people loved working with him, others thought he was too confident (but she also says a lot of the young medics are).

She’s not in a cozy couple and Georgia is not a friend.

They aren't really in a cozy couple though, they aren't even boyfriend and girlfriend and they hardly know each other. It's all manufactured. So I agree, Laura needs to get a grip, it's losing the plot that makes blokes want to run a mile. If she'd laughed it off it would have been something and nothing and soon forgotten about. Now it's a big deal

the girls didn't/don't know that Adam wasn't so happy as he seemed to keep that on the hush hush with the boys while he tried to work things out in his own mind (and for Georgia he's like a big brother to her).

also she fancied Jack2 so wanted him for herself. That's a massive assumption. She may well have fancied him but that's what the whole GAME SHOW is all about, and she was single, she is entitled to pick people she fancied. None of the other girls have been given shit for inviting coupled up guys they fancied on dates. Nor did Megan get this much shit when she DID in fact steal a guy from a coupled up relationship.
