I don’t know why they are laying in to Georgia so much more viciously than what Megan got. Sure Megan was called a slag in the heat of the moment but the other girls didn’t pile on in.

I think it might be because she's telling everyone how loyal she is twenty five times an hour and it's starting to rub them up the wrong way

She also considers herself Laura's loyal friend, whereas Megan hadn't even spoken to Laura

Megan also asked Wes for a kiss, leaving the choice of whether to do so up to him, whereas Georgia tried to coerce him into it (and later lied about it)

😂 I obviously didn't mean they're literally best friends. Let's keep it in context of the show- they are pally on the show. If it's fine to screw over your friends (on the show), then it's fine to treat everyone like shit (on the show) then I guess. Like Wes said 'it's not loyalty island'...why uphold any integrity at all 😬

Just saw a video of Eyal saying Samira is the biggest snake in the villa, interesting.

The producers already had a show lined up before love island - ‘Dani and Jack’ they’ll win because it was part of the ‘agreement with the parents. They knew each other before. I can’t help watching but it is SO staged and set-up it’s really frustrating.

I think you have to keep in mind the point of the show which is to 'find love' and win money.

If, for the sake of argument, Jack and Georgia coupled up, got a certain way in the show, stayed together for a couple of years - then its more worth it to Georgia to go for it than to honour a superficial friendship of a month.

Georgia was sneaky in the way she went about it, but the huffing and puffing on here about the principle of recoupling misses the point of the show.

No-one is really friends in there, they're on TV and they're all competing for a prize.

I didn't care that Megan pinched Wes, I wouldn't care if Georgia pinched Jack. It's a game.

Wonder if Zara met Adam as he came out. Despite the fact he acted like a complete dick I do think he liked her more than the others. Shambu, it is certainly a game but social networks, media and experience shows that viewers do indeed care about integrity in participants. Unlike you, they punish, via voting, those who do not present well on screen.

I don't know why anyone would ever apply to be a contestant on this. Imagine experiencing that level of scrutiny - your appearance, your history, every word and facial expression analysed. I wonder how many of us have ever had a boring conversation, or said something a bit mean about someone, or rolled our eyes, or unwittingly patronised someone. But here it's filmed and shared and discussed and people make horrific judgements about you. Makes me wonder whether the fleeting z list celebrity they get out of it is worth it.

If you want to invest in the illusion of integrity on a tv show that's up to you. I'm not that naive nor am I silly enough to waste money voting.

Me neither shambu. But millions of others do and if they want to win, or come out with an intact reputation, or progress a media career, they have to remember that and failure to do so has consequences for them.
