Georgia is getting a bit annoying. The difference in the way she has behaved and Laura behaved shows their difference in maturity and I personally think Laura was treated far worse. She's probably embarrassed for being totally over the top about missing Josh, being loyal to him and waiting for him the other whole time he was away. Definitely need to see a lot of them leave soon.

Whattheheq · 04/07/2018 00:54

The difference in the way she has behaved and Laura behaved shows their difference in maturity Well Laura is 10 years older so I should hope she’s more mature Hmm I felt Georgia wanted to let it go but Josh wouldn’t let, he kept following her around and getting shitty when she didn’t want to talk then when she did agree to talk he was rude and wouldn’t let her go when she said her piece and tried leaving it.

wontonsoup · 04/07/2018 03:10

Getting bored again. I’d like to see Megan mug someone off again. To be fair the show only took off when she started her antics.

Also I feel so sorry for those newbies who had a brief stint then left! Like that Savanna girl, she’s had zero airtime basically.

MountFuji · 04/07/2018 03:21

The comments around Alex and the surprise around sunburn as he is a doctor make me laugh. I am from a family of doctors and have never seen a group of people who have such scant regard for their own health.

My dad who is a doctor refuses to wear sunscreen at all, claiming its a complete waste of time. They all drink like witches and half of them smoke.

MadameFoner · 04/07/2018 04:00

Can't bare Josh! He just wanted Georgia to basically say "it's ok babe" so he doesn't feel so shitty.
Alex has got to go......if someone asked me to share their bed and have some "pillow talk" they'd get hoofed.
Didn't like Jack tonight, I hope its the real deal but I think he's thinking spin off show, celeb mags etc etc.

2pointfourmonkeys · 04/07/2018 06:36

I'm not defending Josh, but i couldn't help feeling her was being told to go and talk to Georgia by the producers. To me it felt like they were trying to make Georgia cry. Which would explain why she didn't walk away as well.

I feel this series has been really setup by the show; other series my have had similar input but felt much more natural and flowed better.

mnahmnah · 04/07/2018 07:02

Oh dear. According to that love island quiz i’m Megan!!!

Chipstick10 · 04/07/2018 07:42

Firstly it was so obvious to anyone last night that producers were buzzing round with their pointing rods pushing ppl into a”can I have a talk with you “ situation. It’s tiresome and stops the flow. It’s towie basically.
Secondly my mums best friend was a matron when hospitals used to have them and she said doctors were the worst for smoking , drinking and not taking their own advice.

MissDollyMix · 04/07/2018 07:50

Unpopular opinion, but playing devils advocate, and I do really like Georgia but I couldn’t help wondering last night how much she was upset about the breakdown of her relationship with Josh and how much she was upset at the prize money slipping away?! I mean, she knew they were a popular couple. They’d been together for a long time (in show terms) she must have thought they had a good shot at it. I just thought her use of the phrase “you’ve fu*ked it” - it not me, was a bit telling.

Naty1 · 04/07/2018 07:57

Why did alex switch though?
I think G was rude to Laura, but i can see G would be confused as it's not like they were arguing (like W and L). There should have been no reason for Josh to stray.
I can see this program would leave you with trust issues.

Megsmcgoo · 04/07/2018 08:40

I had started to quite like Georgia but the more I watch it the more I think she’s just acting, drama student! The whole thing with Josh is kind of ridiculous, they didn’t seem all that lovey dovey in those three weeks and the only big sentiment we’ve seen is the talk saying she liked him.

I found it a bit cringe last night calling him ‘my josh’ and saying man after every sentence, just feel she really overreacted.

Not condoning Josh at all, but really what other choice did he have if he really liked Caz even if it is sexual

Lovingtheisland · 04/07/2018 08:51

Agree Megs! You know when Megan said she’s ago that she found G to be a drama queen etc? Well I saw that last night. I DO like Georgia and I DID feel so sorry for her the other night at recoupling and if it was me, I’d stay angry for weeks, lol! But I wouldn’t go on like that, constantly saying ‘My Josh’ (get a grip, you were only seeing him casually for a few weeks, he’s hardly ‘yours’) and ‘I know you, I know you so well, I know you aren’t happy.’ WTF?! That was just embarrassing! No you don’t ‘know’ him Georgia, you’ve known him for 3 weeks, not 3 years. And yes, he found a better connection and attraction to someone else in 3 days because the attraction and connection you two had wasn’t all that, even she knew that. It was a v slow burner with them two and things only got a bit ‘coupley’ just before he went into Casor Amor and told him she liked him.

I am on georgias side, honest, but the dramatic way she was acting last night and some of the stuff she said was HmmBlush

MountFuji · 04/07/2018 08:58

You can tell Josh never had that completely blown away feeling with G. Just the energy in the way that he looks at Caz, you can tell its different. He was like 'wow' right from the start.

Really, what has he done wrong? As he said, he couldn't tell G as he was in a different Villa. And as they all keep going on, the reason they are there is to find their best match. It would be a waste of time and more hurtful all round for him to stay with G out of 'loyalty' and pine after Caz.

Totally gutting for G but time to move on.

RoseWhiteTips · 04/07/2018 09:27

I just thought her use of the phrase “you’ve fuked it” - it not me, was a bit...*

I took that to mean the “relationship”!

HyacinthBuffet · 04/07/2018 09:29

MissDollyMix

Agree completely. I think it’s a combination of the embarrassment of being dumped and possibly losing the prize.

Chipstick10 · 04/07/2018 09:30

And thirdly I don’t agree with many on here who are saying Ellie2 let it slip that Jack had her dads film poster on his wall so as to, subtly put doubt in Dani’s mind about jacks intentions

InTheLightOfTheMoon · 04/07/2018 09:37

also took you fucked it to mean the relationship, as "you fucked me" doesnt even make sense.

i wad finding it cringey the way georgia kept saying how much she wanted the other guy but didnt go there, didnt she said she wanted to rip hks clothes off? thought that was abit off tbh as if you do like someone you wouldnt be feeling that way. they both got their heads turn, but only josh acted on it. i think they both didnt like each other all that much.

bobsandvagene · 04/07/2018 09:51

Josh isn't a bad person for recoupling- he has better chemistry with Kaz and they seem to go together much better and his feelings reflect that, so I guess it wouldn't have made sense to ignore that and stay with Georgia.

But then again I can see why Georgia was upset at him sleeping in the bed with Kaz on the first night. He hadn't even spent much time with her by that point so does make you question whether he was planning on staying loyal at all and whether he would have had his head easily turned by anyone. Before the boys even met the new girls in class amor Josh made that comment about the door being 'ajar' when the blokes were on about who had an open door for the new girls. So he was open to meeting someone new..
He's making out that he went in there with every intention of staying loyal to Georgia then unexpectedly got blown away by Kaz to the point where he could no longer ignore it, and we know that just isn't the case.

Bekabeech · 04/07/2018 09:55

Whether Josh is a A* or it was the producers - but I can fully understand Georgia just wanting to ignore Josh and Kaz, and just have some time without them in her face. Why she couldn't have slept in the other room...

The producers are really being callous with the islanders mental health.

MountFuji · 04/07/2018 10:11

I also think the producers are being reckless with the mental health of the contestants - just for the entertainment of the masses. It is not a million miles away from the Hunger Games really.

Deliberately engineering situations where they know someone will suffer real mental anguish just to create drama and entertainment.

At some point there will be a suicide or suicide attempt actually on one of these shows and I think then we will look back and wonder how it was ever allowed in the first place.

Moonkissedlegs · 04/07/2018 10:15

It is not a million miles away from the Hunger Games really.

To be fair, it is! No one has had to fight to the death just yet...

MiddleClassProblem · 04/07/2018 10:22

This is nothing compared to the US ones. It’s crazy how much they push them there, here they drop things in and hope for a reaction. There they will a actually wind them up and manipulate them in a darker way, arguing with them, saying people don’t like them that do etc.

I do think some are completely unaware going in LI of what it’s like but at least there’s more talk about it now.

Ceruleanblue0 · 04/07/2018 10:26

Last night was so boring. Dani and jack are both very affable and appealing but their relationship bores me to tears. And agree with everyone else who said that it felt the producers kept pushing Josh to have the same discussion with Georgia again and again.

I wish the producers would stop manufacturing drama. Instead they should get rid of Alex and grace because his storyline goes nowhere and takes up too much time, stop adding annoying twists like other villas and exes, increase the alcohol allowance a tiny bit, and just let the drama unfold naturally.

MountFuji · 04/07/2018 10:28

You also see it in all these Real Housewives shows - some women go in seemingly relatively normal and turn into absolute parodies of themselves. So many of them end up getting divorced...
