(Sorry if this has been done before)

I would love to see Peep Show, Two Pints and Bad Girls make a come back.

I binged watched Bad Girls when they showed it from the beginning on Sky a few years back and still watch all the old episodes of Peep Show on Netflix.

The Salon - early 00’s reality show set in a salon. I absolutely loved it & am surprised in this day of reality tv it hasn’t been brought back.

IrritableBitchSyndrome · 30/06/2018 13:44

Firefly, Raised by Wolves and Green Wing.

Weezol · 30/06/2018 14:14

I re-watch Firefly about twice a year.
There was a nice touch in an early halloween episode of Castle - Castle went to get changed into his fancy dress outfit and came back in as Capt Reynolds. It wasn't acknowledged at all in the script or by the characters in the room, just a subtle treat for fans. Shiny!

Heartbreak High - I worked in a restaurant near a theatre and served many cast members when they came here to do panto. With one exception, all were lovely, and the one that wasn't* got swiftly pulled into line and eventually mentored by a British Soap legend. It was interesting to watch that play out.

*Seemed to think they were A list. Demanding beyond belief. Dunno if that has any effect in Aus, but it had fuck all pull in the place I worked. Any incidence of pulling that shit on waiting staff earned a five minute delay penalty on an order by the kitchen. In the first few days, the kitchen were keeping a scratch chart.

I liked The Hour. It lasted two seasons and was then canned.

These are both toot, really, but I would happily watch more Mr Selfridge and Downton.

I ADORED Heartbreak High and would binge-watch it again in a heartbeat.

Also, this is a bit sad and middle-aged but I liked Monty Don's Big Dreams, Small Spaces, The Great Interior Design Challenge, the British Allotment Challenge (can't remember its proper name) and the Pottery Throwdown.

On the upside, the Sewing Bee is coming back! Albeit without Claudia Sad The universe giveth and taketh away...

Friends.
Dexter (for a different ending).

My daughters and I would love to see another, better, Gilmore Girls revival.

drnectarine · 01/07/2018 00:58

Peep show was never as good after Mark and Sophie's wedding.
Torchwood went daft.
I'm very much looking forward to Pope Ted.
The ending of Dexter was awful.
I loved Pulling and there were only 2 series! It was brilliant - I'd love it to come back.

Clionba · 01/07/2018 03:35

I loved Dickensian! Just brilliant. I'd even be happy with repeats.
I also loved the ridiculous Sunset Beach.
Downton Abbey.
Cranford.

Graphista · 01/07/2018 04:33

"Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. Cancelled far too soon when it had such promise." This X a million

Lie to me - ended without a proper ending which was a character cliffhanger AND the channel or whatever that cancelled it - they don't wanna make more but there was interest from others and they were blocked - why?! Would love to see this come back.

Quantum leap. It was ended really well but I just loved it sooooo much I'd have loved more. And for some reason IMPOSSIBLE to access online anywhere.

Eldorado - I watched to the end too shatnersbassoon and actually the acting and writing weren't as bad as it was made out. I also remember that celebrity interview show where it was supposedly a computer doing the interviewing? It was done quite similar to how the computer is personalised in snog, marry avoid? Star Test - thank you! Yes bring that back - people will get it better now with SM etc

Medium and ghost whisperer I've not managed to watch past first few series as can't find them!

I remember Dream on! Anyone remember Early Edition? Was bummed that was cancelled too.

Ffaith - you talking uk Netflix? Cos I was watching Fringe on it then it was withdrawn.

Raised by wolves - what happened to the campaign to get it picked up elsewhere? Obviously didn't work but why?

I loved touchwood but yea it went weird. I liked Frankie too, since Broadchurch 2 Eve Myles has all but disappeared!

What SHOULD be made as kinda sequels to the originals:

Charmed: their destiny continues (with the next generation)

Anyone seen the truly shite trailer for the reboot??

Friends: the kids

LunaMay · 01/07/2018 05:08

I miss Sons of Anarchy

I remember watching The Villa as a teen, i loved that shit. Wonder how many stayed a 'couple'.... also i want another Temptation Island, yes i LOVE the 'reality' show shit...

eggsandchips · 01/07/2018 05:48

Battle star Gallactica the remake

kikashi · 01/07/2018 08:24

I also loved Pulling.
I hated how Utopia was cancelled and we never found what the point of it all was. Also the update of Survivors was good but just cancelled after series 2. I hate investing in series that are not resolved!
I agree about The Hour as well.

Someone mentioned Would like to Meet - it was a good show - always surprised that was cancelled and not picked up again. Much better than other dating type shows. i also liked Make me a grown up (it was on channel 4) they took a nervous teen and helped them psychologically and styled them (early Gok Wan) for events they were terrified about such as job interviews.

thewooster · 01/07/2018 08:27

Fawlty Towers
Making Out - a BBC series set in the early 90s with Margi Clarke

Alan Partridge - my son tells me he is making a come back to TV. Alan is my guilty pleasure.

brizzledrizzle · 01/07/2018 09:16

IwantedtobeEmmaPeel · 01/07/2018 12:35

Oh also wanted to add: Home Fires and When the boat comes in.

longtompot · 01/07/2018 13:37

Firefly would be great to see some more, but it would be sad not have Shepherd in it anymore.

Party of Five - so many people before they were properly famous.

Jackanory - with proper story telling and not a silly cartoon version. I would love an adults version of this TBH. I used to love being read to as a child, the highlight of my primary school week.

Waking the Dead.

ER - the rerun is good, but it is a bit dated, and I would love to see County Hospital as it is now. Maybe what some of the oldies are doing now.

Vicar of Dibley would be great brought back to, but might be too sad with so many characters no longer being with us.

Gingefringe · 01/07/2018 14:22

Golden Balls - I loved the 'steal or share' bit at the end.

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 01/07/2018 15:32

Pushing Daisies, definitely.

I also loved the Andrew Lloyd-Webber shows finding somebody for in a musical (well, the ones on the BBC, ITV's Jesus Christ Superstar was nowhere near as good).

JamSandwiches45 · 02/07/2018 05:34

CSI, Cold Case, Dexter, 24, The Mentalist. Love a good crime show, can't stand anything British sorry!

bogglepop · 02/07/2018 09:32
