(Sorry if this has been done before)

I would love to see Peep Show, Two Pints and Bad Girls make a come back.

I binged watched Bad Girls when they showed it from the beginning on Sky a few years back and still watch all the old episodes of Peep Show on Netflix.

PuppyMonkey · 28/06/2018 20:33

Lost.

Fast Show.

Moonlighting.

Frasier (but now Marty passed away that might be too Sad).

Tiswas.

Happy Valley.

Brookside.

JaneJeffer · 28/06/2018 20:35

I found Star Stories on YouTube if anyone wants to pass half an hour

FlowerOfTheValley · 28/06/2018 20:44

The Bill
Clocking Off
Bad Girls
The Vice
Band of Gold

BlueEyedBengal · 28/06/2018 20:49

Eldorado, I was just getting into it when it was cancelled Sad

tararabumdeay · 28/06/2018 20:54

'The Changes', when technology turned against humanity and the female protagonist learned to live with others as the changes happened.

Ah, just looked it up... Nothing changes.

Ev1979 · 29/06/2018 06:49

One by one - zoo/ vet program from the 80's, and Cracker.

Dulra · 29/06/2018 08:14

Beeblot absolutely agree on Northern Exposure I would love to see that again

I would also like Thirty Something. I have fond memories of me and my sister watching this with my mum religiously every week. Thinking about it she was probably 30something at the time (in my eyes ancient) and now I'm 40something Shock.

Would also love Moonlighting and Cagney and Lacey Grin

Agree also with those that said Dickensian I loved that series especially the time it was aired on dark cold winter nights it was perfect

BevBrook · 29/06/2018 08:19

The Adventure Game, although I suppose the Crystal Maze is similar, and that is back now
Quantum Leap
Survivors (the more recent remake). Was it called Survivors? The one where everyone died of bird flu.

ShatnersWig · 29/06/2018 08:52

BevBrook Adventure Game was SO much better then Crystal Maze. I bought the entire series last year on DVD (bar some missing believed wiped episodes). Obviously repetitive if you watch them too close together but just a lot more fun than Crystal Maze. And the people on it were generally quite well known people, unlike the "celebrities" on the Crystal Maze "celebrity" editions.

SomeBritishLadNamedKarisque1 · 29/06/2018 08:54

I think CBeebies show Zingalong does need a reboot.

helzapoppin2 · 29/06/2018 09:06

Yes to Torchwood. That was fabulous!

BaldricksWife · 29/06/2018 09:37

Afterlife, Wire in the Blood, Cracker.

BevBrook · 29/06/2018 09:41

ShatnersWig Me and my sisters used to play "Adventure Game" with the stairs as the vortex game. Amazing what arguments can ensue when one person is controlling the movements of an invisible vortex in their head. We also used to play the "find drognas in a dark room game".

Weezol · 29/06/2018 10:45

Yy to Survivors. I need to know what happened when the plane landed!

I was so disappointed when Home Fires was cut. Well researched, great cast, great lighting, female led.

A re-run of Jackanory would be very welcome - especially readings by Kenneth Williams, Bernard Cribbins and Rik Mayall.

ShatnersWig · 29/06/2018 11:47

BevBrook Gronda, Gronda, Your Highness.

Weezol I agree about Jackanory. Cribbins and Williams were outstanding (hence them doing 114 and 69 programmes respectively). Cribbins is a national treasure and I shall be as gutted when he finally leaves us as Attenborough.

What is astonishing is the quality of people they got to read some of the stories. Go and have a look at the Wikipedia page and just look at the names. I mean, seriously incredible.

Weezol · 29/06/2018 12:03

Shatners I've managed to gather a few readings on BBC audiobook cassette and I treasure them. Someone at the BBC is missing a cracking source of revenue by failing to stream or re-release them.

Kenneth Williams talks about the recording sessions in his diaries. I bawled at Bernard Cribbins' part in Dr Who, dreading the actuality.

Sopisssedof · 29/06/2018 12:06

Bad girls
Devious maids
Dallas

Weezol · 29/06/2018 12:34

I miss The Two Julies. They are definitely worthy of a two part catch up.

ShatnersWig · 29/06/2018 13:05

Weezol His Diaries are my desert island book. His Letters also bloody good. Poor Kenneth. I often wonder whether he'd have been happier had he been born 20 years later. Probably not.

user1495997773 · 29/06/2018 20:18

The Mary Whitehouse Experience, I used to love it as a teen

Hushnownobodycares · 29/06/2018 21:29

Triangle.

80's BBC series set on some grim ferry ploughing between unlikely ports in the North Sea. Was ace but cancelled after about three series Angry

TheSausageEmperor · 29/06/2018 21:35

Pete Versus Life
White Van Man
Utopia
Sirens

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 29/06/2018 21:47

shatners I think of Kenneth every time I cringe when someone wants to use my loo Blush. My DDs can’t believe that something like Jackanory existed, I’m a life long fan and they’ve seen the many many amazing storytellers that queued up to be on that program.
I absolutely loved The Adventure Game too. I had a huge Aspidistra in my first ever flat that was known as the Rangdo of Arg.

OllyBJolly · 29/06/2018 21:56

I loved Northern Exposure -good to see some fans here. Should we get a petition going? Grin

Also
Dream On (which no one remembers)
Everwood
Soldier Soldier (when it had Rosie Rpwell, Annabelle Apsion, Lesley Vickerage not the later cast)
The Champions (William Gaunt, Alexandra Bastedo and Stuart Damon)

I also loved early Neighbours but don't tell anyone
