Evening all. I caught a bit of Red Rock yesterday, it looks good. Perhaps I should have watched it. I think I saw a couple of episodes of the very first series. It's improved a lot.

I can't believe dh has just had 2 weeks off, and the weather has been pants. We had no real plans, and the dog hasn't been well, (plus all the usual appointments to fit in), but at least if the weather had been ok, forcing the sloth like children to do something would have been easier.

I am quite addicted to Red Rock. It happens every year.

Even DH asked why did the Eggheads got all the easy questions.

Bloody Eggheads, it's definitely skewed in their favour. I don't know what the BBC think about the viewing public, probably that we're all too thick to realise.
That question about space flight was like a trick question. Poor Sarah/Val.

And Elisabeth/Zara knew it was probably the Green Knight but was overruled by the men. Pah.

I am just watching Eggheads now- and loved how Jeremy stressed immensely popular daytime show at the beginning .

I agree, it is odd that they always skew it in favour of the Eggheads- as really, it is far more interesting for the viewers when they lose. I used to watch it a lot. I've lost interest over the years, for precisely that reason- I refuse to believe that all the the teams they bring on are inferior to the Eggheads, always.

And Sarah/Val got much more difficult questions than the egghead did! The Wright brothers question was one that even my 12 year old could answer, ffs.

This is why The Chase is so much better to watch. It also always seems that Jeremy wants the Eggheads to win. I hate it when the visitors get a question wrong and he then asks the Eggheads to explain why it is the wrong answer. It is excruciatingly painful.

Anne I agree- who was the one who was up against Al? Chris? He really irritates me- Jeremy was going on about the 'extraordinary way' he does quiz shows. It was really cringey.

I have never watched Eggheads before. I certainly won't watch it again.

The return of Doctors is bittersweet for me because it starts when I have to go back to work.

I only got to Daniel's questions on Eggheads before switching it off. The smug know it alls on the opposition team were too much for me.

Can't wait until next week though!
