I'm sure I read somewhere that at one point Angelo tries to flip Dean by promising to protect him if he informs on Colby. I can't imagine Ziggy or Mac running the risk of Dean going down with Colby. Maybe Taylor finds out that he's been using her for info?

Ooh yes if Angelo promised them that Dean would stay out of trouble in return for evidence against Colby, I could definitely see Ziggy or Mac being persuaded by that. Especially Ziggy after Colby was so vile to her - that scene where he came out to the farmhouse when she was on her own, and grabbed her phone off her so she couldn't call anyone - I actually found that really intimidating.
