Before I go checking the spoilers thread... Cassius said something about realising that other people don't play by the rules & how he struggled to come to terms with that... Leaving aside the fact that it seems like the sort of thing a child suddenly dumped in an adult's body would say, perhaps he saw Hamish & Louise behaving in an unfair way & decided to do something about it. Louise could be his mum although, I'm not seeing the family resemblance & he was going around trying to right her wrongs - Gabe & Piper - while being so angry at Hamish for leading his mum astray that he decided to put a stop to it all...

Maybe... I was thinking nephew lol but I’m not sure family resemblance matters Katya was meant to be Zeke and Rachel’s full sister.

If he is the killer then that would be a shit storm with him confessing and having not owned up before iyswim. I was thinking they would give him a hero role.

Maybe he doesn't know he killed him? Perhaps he saw Tyler arguing with him & went to talk to him & pushed him towards the hot tub before walking away. Piper could say something which will make him figure out that it's actually his fault & he'll go to the police... Him being the killer doesn't fit with him being in the credits at the start though - they wouldn't do that for a temporary character. I'm just desperate for Tyler to come back again... Or maybe he told Hamish that he knew everything & was going to the police & Cassius watched him have a heart attack/commit suicide... Maybe he filmed it in an attempt to get a confession & thus has proof... Has anyone actually told Cassius why Tyler isn't around anymore?

OMG today’s ep sounds hilarious. I was watching feds get beat but will try to catch up on the next 2 days.

Yes! Cassius will be busy gardening when he finds it! It'll only have Hamish's fingerprints on Cassius was wearing gardening gloves when he picked it up & then they'll find Hamish's saliva on the rim. Case closed. Tyler can come home. Piper will be really full-on & clingy but Tyler will be a bit traumatised & realise that he's changed & they just don't connect anymore. Piper will flounce off to uni & I'll look after Tyler.
