Recently in the same street we've had Cassis pretending to be someone else as well as Karl's sister.
Yet we're meant to believe toadie and Sonya wouldn't question Alice?!

I fast forwarded through the Alice / Nell silliness today. I might just do that until it's over. Sonya will think she's going mad, Toadie will start doubting her/ their relationship, then just when they're on the brink it will all come out after someone (Nell) finds the photo in Alice's purse.

I have a vague recollection of Andrea’s backstory involving either a dead mother or a really horrible mother whose neglect or emotional abuse had caused Andrea to become a grifter. Or am I getting confused?

Curbside between fast forwarding the Gary sex, the Therese/Leo sex and creepy Alice vs stupid Rebecchis there’s not much left. Especially if you also fast forward Bea scenes.

Love it in soaps when they have fancy dress and everyone has access to a ginormous tv wardrobe department can knock up a fab costume from the op shop with the old needle and thread!

I’ve watched until Tuesday. Seeing that list of all the people who have conned the Rebecchis which didn’t even have the likes of Andrea on there so I’m sure there’s even more. How do they never learn? They are the easiest targets ever. Maybe next year they’ll announce they’ve one the Nigerian lottery...

If you have a child who's an actor, how on earth do you explain to them that there are no secrets you have to keep from your parents (except bday and Xmas gifts), but that it's fine for someone to pretend to be a lady called Alice, who's a nutter, and you've to high five her when she suggests keeping a secret from your pretend mum??

I think that she calls Sonya and Toady Mama and Papa deliberately so they have different names from her actual parents, and I’m sure I read somewhere that they have to all call each other by their character names when she’s there because it is too confusing for her to remember to call people two different names depending on whether the cameras are rolling.

However with little kid actors, surely there’s a point at which the attributes that make you a great baby/toddler actor (ability to sleep through anything, ability to sit still and quiet, ability to not pipe up with loud random nonsense all the damn time, lack of set destroying tendencies etc) don’t cut it any more and if you can’t actually remember lines an act a bit you’re gonna find yourself with a new head? Nell is very similar in age to my twins so I’m waiting for the day when she goes on holiday to LA and comes back 4 years older than them.

I am pretty damn sure that if any of my kids had been cast as the Rebecchi child there would be no ikea kallax unit covered in nick nacks chez Rebecchi.
