They’re sooooo hard! It’s just a thick, heavy rope, and they’re attached to the ground, or to something, at the other end. You alternate ‘whipping’ them and try to go as fast as you can. It really kills your arms!

Yes it’s an exercise done in a lot of high intensity training type work outs, I used to do it at a personal training session. Really gets your heart pumping and it works your arms. You also have to adopt a half-crouch position if you can do it works your thigh muscles too.
