eejit now that Elvis is no longer with us, I have reverted back to my lusting after CJ! Mind you, he's not quite so fanciable the way he's been behaving of late.

I don't think their watches are as good as Elvis' all singing, all dancing, tells the time across the world's different time zones etc.

Any time now, Georgie is going to cuddle up to CJ. No wonder he gets ideas or whatever it is.

Just wondering if Two Section and members of Two Section are the most accident prone and unlucky in the British Army.

Well, the excitement mounts. Sorry I wasn't participating too actively. Nice to notice the non-2 section squaddies at the campsite, though I agree that the makshift tents ought to have mosquito nets that close to water.
Not that I WANT to see it, but I'm sure this jungle is a bit low on the the David Attenborough wildlife, especially of the creepie-crawlie variety.

Sorry about yesterday, ilove. To be honest it was all a bit hectic and somewhat fluid as we trying to get to different info sessions, do tours of departments and look at accommodation and had to keep changing our plans slightly. We've a few more to go but I don't think we'll be back in your neck of the woods for the others.

I've just watched the video the BBC has put up with MK and a former female army medic talking about some of the criticisms of the show. The latter said that Georgie would be court-martialled for talking back to officers and disobeying orders - but that she had also had her eyebrows microbladed and had worn make up.
According to the Radio Times online, Bones takes charge of 2 Section for the next tour re the Myanmar refugee crisis! Unless TG comes up with an extremely convincing reason for this, I can't for the life of me see why an SF guy would take charge of a regular army unit, esp if it was just a humanitarian tour! Has he got nothing better to do or has he just decided that he'll get called in anyway when it all goes tits up, so he may as well be there from the off? Seems there could be more realism sacrificed at the high altar of drama!

Interesting stuff Kazza. If Bones is going to be in charge does that mean 2 section will be sharpened up since they've really never shown themselves as a crack team exactly? On the other hand does it go the other way and the Bones character gets dumbed down. As you say all for the sake of drama - time will tell I suppose🤔

I was talking about TG writing BA out and joking about his fans being disappointed But obviously a bit stronger!!

The photos of the wedding over the weekend have been great to see and he did have a break to film either Price of Life or the Gershwin one
so hopefully only a week or at the most two without him

Fingers crossed he is in hospital recovering from the leg injury and will be back

Kazza I had a look at that video clip which was interesting but it didn''t really answer our comments apart from the one about Georgie getting into trouble for speaking out of turn. I'm glad we were right about that. I don't think our complaints are about Georgie not performing medical procedures properly, the reality of the job she does which we all accept and admire, and I do also accept that she looks the way she does and there are even times when she looks a bit roughed up and sweaty, it's just the times when characters behave illogically. I get that it's drama but when it starts to irritate you, you do wonder if there was another way of making the story dramatic without breaking all the rules.

A small point but I noticed that the wording on episode four on the BBC OG page now says that Georgie has to re-evaluate her "professional" relationship with CJ. Other blurb (including one which is BBC related but I won't say where) states "personal" relationship. I wonder which is right? I'm wondering if CJ's "Stunning Confession" is that he was - to quote Molly - **ing economical with the truth in his report on the Elvis and Afghan affairs and has shown himself up as a little less honourable than she thought - or us come to that. Perhaps he's going to question himself as to whether the army is the right place knowing that he was willing to sacrifice the truth to save his own professional career. Perhaps the information about Georgie was used as an excuse. Mind you, it didn't pull the wool over their eyes as he got a bollocking that's on his record but it fell short of actually being charged with anything.

All very deep Rhu. I'm beginning to think CJ will be finished with the army after this. Made me go back and have another look at the pic BA posted on his Instagram at the end of filming. It was of his very tired looking army boots and a little caption "CJ DONE" Now is that significant or am I overthinking?

I think he'll be "DONE" Magi. Given the story lines and his general demeanour plus a less than satisfactory army record. I think it's goodbye to CJ, hopefully for a new life or a new start with Molly and I think it's probably the right decision all round . If OG continues I reckon it will be the Bones, Maisie and Rab story. I suspect it won't continue BUT the viewing figures are apparently pretty good, so never say never!
