I think her dad was framed for murder, actually.

800 words- George and Fiona split up because he doesn't want kids (if Jan's babies are his , he's happy for her to bring them up).

Emma and Arlo split up because Emma is seeing her ex.
Ike and Shay sp;it because Shay was painting pictures for the busdriver and pasing them off as his for big money.

George's younger brother (restaurant owner) turned up ,and BIg Mac is trying to get him to open a pop up restaurant where the old Chineses place was .

Heston is just going to be judgy and out of touch isn't he ? And eeesh will know them all because she grew up on the Churchill.
Poor Sid won't report Zara but will spend all week doubting himself again.

I think it might be from her dad.

I remember him coming back a few years ago. Around the time she was going through the whole 'early menopause' storyline and not being able to tell Daniel, I think.

I am sure Zara is really called Alex

I think her dad is or has been released from jail and wants to visit - which is why she is so jumpy thinking it is him at the door etc

Zara's dad was released from prison years ago, iirc. I'm sure Zara had a hand in getting him released, because he didn't actually do what he was in for.

I'm sure I remember him being in it (briefly).I think her real full name is Alex Grey?

(The only reason I remember the storyline is I had not long gone on mat leave when pg with dd2 - so it was 2010. I've never actually gone back to work..Grin)

Did should report Zara for hitting him. No need for that whatever was upsetting her. Imsgine if your line manager hit you at work (id be v scared if mine did as she’s intimidating enough when you talk to her!)

Ohhhh that was an 800000000 words by the sounds of it!! Today's was weird. Who is Dennis (other than a famous artist). She's def going to get caught looking at today's episode.
Doctors of Old is not my specialty but making non-stop commentary will get me on the team!!!!

Nut Dennis is the bus driver that George got sacked (way back in the beginning /first series /when they first moved/when I wasn't paying attention). He is also a good artist, but (and here's where it gets odd- he doesn't think he is real, or that his work is realHmm) and apparently Europeans pay a fortune for his work- but he can't keep up with demand, so Katie does some for him, and gets him to sign them. She's roped Shay in. But Ike didn't like it, as they are selling for £££ and it's fraud.

Discussing my mat leave with dd2, got me wondering what was happening on Doctors when I was on my other 2 mat leaves- I remember watching it a lot in 2006 (Donna started then, George and Ronnie were in it- and I think that was around when MBE came back). Annoying Emily , Joe's daughter was in it. I remember she later went on to be on the British version of Britain's next top Model. She was annoying on that too.

I went on mat leave Christmas 2002- Easter 2003, and don't remember as much of that. Mac and Kate were obviously still in it then .

I hope we get to see what's in Zara's letter today. If they drag it out, I'll not be happy.
