I read this thread daily but don't normally post - lI've all your ramblings but can someone tell me why you call Emma 6tl please 😄

As mentioned in the last thread, I have a lot of pairs of pj's - but most of them are very tatty, and full of holes. They can not be worn out of the house. The same is true of my dc's. I dread any dress up day requests that mention pj's as it usually means having to buy new , which to me defeats the object of giving a £1 to school for charity .

I am a kiljoy- but I hate dressing up days- school have given us a weeks notice of a super hero day this Friday. DD2 has nothing. Which has meant buying something. In order to donate a £1. I hate it.

I have day and night pjs... Mostly because I work from home and I can be comfy. I love pyjamas.

Nut they can- and I hate moaning about it, but they fuel my anxiety like nothing else. And I hate book day, where MN is full of threads where people say 'make some thing out of a tea towel' (like everyone can sew) or buy from a charity shop (last time I looked, they don't give things away for free).

So, I do send my youngest in the Disney dresses we've had for years. And I don't care .

They are off Thursday for polling. I could just forget to send her back...And if they ring I will just say- oh no Mrs Teacher. She's definitely there. Honest .

I have managed to get a wonder woman costume from Tesco, for half price due to some vouchers I didn't realise I had. But I'm still cross about it .

And that cat costume is exactly the sort of thing I can see Val in.
