The bedroom has been carpeted and I'm trying to summon the energy to go and put the bed back together but I'd rather flop here and watch the tennis.

Looks like Djok is making a bit of a comeback.

Just seen that Djok has woken up a bit.

Djokovic is 4-1 up in the second.....look like this is going to three unless kei can do something quickly.

Just got in - it’s close in the third set. Not sure who I would prefer to see in the semi. I think I would like to see a Rafa/djok semi but think that Rafa might have a better chance against nishikori.

But then again anything could happen.

Djok's got a break then. That could be crucial.

So it’s Rafa v Djokovic in one semi. In a way it’s good to see him back - should hopefully be a good match.

It will be an interesting match, Fizzy - it's so hard to guess at Djok's form lately.

Hopefully Rafa will bring his A game.

Yes hopefully he will bring his A game Raahh - the commentators today were saying that Rafa is usually nervous for the first four games especially if it’s someone that he finds difficult to play against.

He did seem a bit nervous and tentative today so we shall see.

Hopefully I’ll have got rid of my royal wedding guests by then

Fizzy I read that Rafa has the best stats for winning a match, after losing the first set. Which is why I don't always get too nervous when he is slow to get started.

But I must admit, I think he does better over 5 sets in this respect, as he has time to grind his opponent down- which is something he does very well . If Djok gets off to a flying start, I worry that Rafa might not come back (as he didn't against Thiem).

I still get nervous if Rafa loses the first set especially in best of three matches but the stats must be right!

I don’t think the Goffin/Zverev match has started yet - it must be very late in Rome

Yes, must be 9pm in Rome. It's late- but they must be expecting to be able to finish the match. I think they have lighting in Rome, though , iirc? Might be wrong.

I think Rome is an hour in front but they have floodlights so should be ok.

Maybe that’s why they complain about the early starts!

I didn't realise this was on! Zverev seems to be arguing with the umpire.

Of course they are ahead. It's been a long day. But unlike Foggy, I was up at 6am.

I HATE not being able to watch. I want to know what the arguing is about.

So Sascha is through. He was upset with a couple of late calls I think.

Want to watch Rafa/Nole but have to watch Royal wedding. It's also FA cup final which I'm sure the men of the house will want to see. I need a bank of televisions

DD1 and dh have gone off to dd1's football tournament. I haven't been feeling too well since last night and think it's probably the start of a migraine. I'm plonked on the sofa , with dd2, who is very excited about the whole wedding thing.
