Hopefully we will see some players return from injury in the next few weeks.

Munich/Istanbul in play this week amongst other tournaments.

Madrid week beginning the 7th (hopefully with Delpo playing)

Serena is wearing what appears to be wearing black/navy shiny leggings ,and now the sun is out she must be roasting.

She looks dressed for the luge or skeleton Bob more than tennis.
But at least she's not wearing orange.

Orange would have been bad. Maybe she is saving that one for the final?

I’ve not seen any of the voile outfits but they don’t sound good.

Was so cross that ITV4 showed berluddy Kyle & not Rafa.

But ended up getting a lot of weeding done.

Serena looked weird - and it did not favours to her figure!

Another topsy turvy match with mahut and Delpo - mahut won the first set 6-1 and Delpo looked as if he was really struggling. Delpo now 5-0 up in the second set.

I missed the beginning of the Del po match, had to go out. It is quite topsy turvy.
Mahut is a good player, but definitely more if a doubles specialist these days.

Mac discussing child birth was pretty ewwww. He is an expert, you see, having 5 dc of his own

Yes I’m sure John McEnroe is an expert on most subjects (in his head anyway!)

So Delpo came through - didn’t expect that at the beginning of the match.

Play suspended now - it went very dark and John inverdale sounded worried about the imminent thunder - wish I’d seen him jump yesterday

I'm not enjoying the ITV coverage. Didn't get to see Rafa. I think Sky are much better even if I have to put up with Petchey.

Serena's outfit is awful.

It's absolutely roasting here today. Still 26 degrees now.

Can’t see Rafa in the order of play tomorrow - thought he would be playing as his match was delayed from Monday by the rain.

Thiem and tsitsipas are playing each other tomorrow - should be interesting.

Cameron Norrie is also playing tomorrow on a show court. Well done to Kyle earlier. He seems to be taking everything in his stride.

Looks like Rafa's playing on Thursday - against Guido Pella, who's playing doubles tomorrow, which might be one of the reasons Rafa's second round match has been pushed back a day.

Saw a bit of Kyle's match. Am picking him to go far this fortnight (unless he's about to meet Rafa soon - haven't looked that closely at the draw tbh). I've obviously jinxed him now..

I thought Del Potro was looking good - Mahut not an easy opponent but after that first set, Delpo found his stride and made it look easy. Rafa’s straight sets win v. misleading, I thought - he had to really work for that, and I think that he could be in trouble this year. No Murray, no Federer, Wawrinka out, Djokovic not on form, but I reckon some of the youngsters are lurking ready to grab their chance - and I wouldn’t rule out Delpo either!

Hmm interesting theonly - I quite like the sound of that!

Also I think Kyle's/Delpo's outfits are my favourites on the men's side, and Petra's on the women's. Although respect to Serena for her bodysuit!!

I have made the mistake of planning to go out today. Fortunately it is to my mother's house, and she's a tennis but so I expect the tv will be in

Thiem/Tsitsipas is definitely one to watch- since Thiem was beaten by him in Barcelona, and the Greek player seems to be improving all the time.

Petchey is an appalling commentator- I turn the sound off when he's on.

Was I the only one happy to watch Heather rather than Rafa again? Precious few opportunities to see her play and I love her game style as she doesn't have raw power or pace around the court so she really has to construct her points- she's a joy to watch when she's playing well.

Kyle had a nice straightforward win. What a forehand!

Serena is looking very slow and flatfooted. I know she's normally on the slow side (yes I do think that) and her power game is what wins her the rallies but she couldn't reach so many of the shots today. And why the catsuit? Well I know why as she said so in interview but really? The most unflattering outfit.

A more straightforward win than I feared for Foggy too 🙂 though didn't get to see any of it 😕

ferrier if you put it on your threads I'm watching list at least you won't lose it (which I do all the time with things).

The cat suit was awful, and I really hope she isn't planning a white version for Wimbledon. Remember Ann White wearing one at Wimbledon? Mid 80's caused a bit of a stir (think she was banned from wearing it again)- looked liked she was doing a Jane Fonda workout
