Phew ! hurrah! And back to number one- which he will be until the end of RG, even if loses in the first round , I think, since officially the points don't drop until after the end of the tournament.

I don't think this matters to Rafa- as much as it clearly does to Roger, who has decided to play an extra tournament during the grass season.

Just read that Murray is definitely put of the challenger he had been scheduled to play, but that was always in doubt

Zverev can take heart in the fact he's had an amazing run- and is currently leading the Race- as he will go ahead of Roger now. I'm not sure how well he will do at RG- I think he still struggles in the best of 5 format, but at least he will know he won't meet Rafa until at least the final (unless they do something odd with the draw).

Mills Raonic has a knee injury and won't be at RG.

He's really not had a good run since 2016. It's such a shame, he really seemed to be coming into his own then. Poor Milos. I hope it's nothing too serious.

I've seen that Stan is playing in Geneva next week, so I'm hoping that gives him some good matches and confidence before RG. Even though I really want Rafa to make it to 11 this year, I would love Stan to be back to his best.

Oh my word! I had to leave the match when it was raining & Zverev was up a break in the final set. Just checked in on the scores & find that Rafa came back to win!!! I wasn't expecting that, the way it was going. Vamos!! Well done Rafa.

Didn’t watch the match yesterday but pleased that Rafa won. I’ve recorded it so might watch a bit of it today to get my tennis fix
