Hi there, am I the only sad person that will be watching it tomorrow?

I love it, and I know it's sad, and I know it's even really, really, really sad...but I don't care,lol!
So, anyone else gonna admit to this sadness...lol...

I love it too!!! it's fab and I look forward all year to it.. OH and the kids think I'm barmy but I don't care!!

Going to France tomorrow so hoping I can catch it on French TV but I have a feeling they're much too sophisticated to spend their Sat night watching Euro tat! Watch Eurovision every year although the political voting does get a bit wearisome...

As for the voting...I really really will never understand how it happens in such a political way...I know, if I would vote, I would vote for those I find best, no matter where they are from....it would never ever occur to me to vote with politics in mind...

Every year we have a party with score sheets (for outfit / singing / sexiness / etc) and then we all vote by phone for our winner!

I voted last year. I think it was the Estonian entry - the one that went "We are the winners, of Eurovision ..." I think the rest of Europe thought they were bigheaded but I thought it was hilarious!!

Sarah Kennedy was wibbling about it this morning. Her "much beloved" is a big fan. he tips Belarus or Slovenia, and thinks UK will come in the top 10. Well, it would be better than in the last few years!

At the risk of over analysing () I think we've got a 'proper' Eurovision song this year - all poppy and crap! Should do rather better than before ... except for the politics.

The Bosnian entry was beautiful last year - he was a much feted folk singer and much too good for Eurovision but he should have won. I haven't seen any of the acts this year but will be voting for Macedonia anyway because that's where dh is from. He always covers his eyes in embarrassment when their act comes on but votes for them anyway!

only watched the first few acts last night. have taped it for tonight. Bottle of wine, some chocolate and Eurovision with DH! BLISS!!!

We haven't a hope of winning these days but at least we have a proper Eurovision song this year - the perfect combination of cheesy grins, campness and fun
