They could have just run for an exit each and let the guy try to catch all of them at once. Or jumped on him, especially once Ryder was there too.

Loved ancient Alf, just out of hospital after his second heart attack, saying it was alright now, no one would be getting past him!

Did someone on the last thread say Mason was going to have a "coming of age" storyline? It's not going to be with Newby, is it?! I'd have to switch off if they paired them up, they both annoy me every time they're on my screen. Off to search for spoilers, it's not like I'm going to sleep tonight anyway now I've got that thought in my head. Mason was actually less annoying when I could ignore his "acting" in favour of daydreaming about pinging his daft floppy curls. Him & weird-lips-cop making eyes at each other... Urgh.

I am waaaaay behind atm; have just watched the whole sinkhole bit and tbf, Ash is now properly doing my head in and I have liked him as a character for a long time. Can’t believe how batshit crazy he’s gone.

Btw, if it took my family that long to notice I was down a sinkhole, I’d be miffed. Love the way the Morgan brothers just randomly volunteered to search the school to make sure that the people best suited to rescuing Alf and Roo were there, rather than, say, Marilyn and John.
