We all know that the writers read MN after all. Apparently it’s on at 8.30pm this eve?

As an aside Sophie has the most beautiful hair.

Akire · 02/04/2018 21:03

Was Aiden fancing Sophie?

Emma198 · 02/04/2018 21:04

I feel like crying. So fed up of this storyline.

lou1221 · 02/04/2018 21:04

omg!! next victim lined up?

ZibbidooZibbidooZibbidoo · 02/04/2018 21:04

Me too betty. It was far too lazy to just kill him off. He needs to face the music. Eileen can’t Be left to face it all alone.

yawning801 · 02/04/2018 21:04

Fuckety fuck. Corrie are lucky they have so many people who've watched since birth. It's because it's become a ritual for them and they can't bear giving it up. That's why it's so hard for me to give it up.

ZibbidooZibbidooZibbidoo · 02/04/2018 21:05

Was Aiden fancing Sophie?

It looks like that!

blueskypink · 02/04/2018 21:06

Am wondering what storyline they're building up to for Sophie and Aiden given the numerous contrived encounters they've had lately.

AmIthatbloodycold · 02/04/2018 21:07

I'm still not watching until wonky mouth is gone

I take it he's not dead Angry

yawning801 · 02/04/2018 21:07

On a lighter note, what on Earth is in the water in Weatherfield to let people survive so much? Billy survived the cliff drop, Phelan survived a whack on the head from Gary (a few years ago) and that swim, etc

lou1221 · 02/04/2018 21:14

it's ridiculous, falling into freezing water; a stormy night - waves crashing against the lighthouse and probably rocks. He manages to swim to safety, away from police, and any tv/news reports, with a few scrapes to his head, and now he's a Dr. bleeding Frankenstein, sewing up his own leg. He literally has 9 lives, falling into a vat of cement, numerous whacks over the head.

thenightsky · 02/04/2018 21:16

Where was he? Ireland?

blackbunny · 02/04/2018 21:19

It's jumped the shark now ...

lou1221 · 02/04/2018 21:21

I thought Ireland, surely not. Where was the lighthouse, Cumbria? Pat Phelan, the darkness and the light, the survivor of all scrapes, the greatest swimmer ever to walk the cobbles, and now Dr Nefario with seemless stitching. His next job could be at the factory. ha ha

sleepyjane · 02/04/2018 21:29

Agree about Sophie, no experience whatsoever of restaurants, and she applies for a managers job? how odd. Apart from that she can barely string a coherent sentence together. Confused

honeyroar · 02/04/2018 21:30

Isle of Man? He could be just around the corner from the cottage. The land lady's accent could be a red herring. He might be in Weatherfield!

Would everyday sewing box cotton hold a leg wound together anyway? I'm pretty sure they use something a bit more substantial in operating theatres.

JiltedJohnsJulie · 02/04/2018 21:46

I think he’s on the Iske if Sodor.

GlacindaTheTroll · 02/04/2018 21:52

It won't be sterile, so could give you a rip roaring infection (though that might happen anyhow if not cleaned properly behind skin flap). And it won't dissolve, or pull out smoothly from flesh (proper sutures will do one or the other)

Not to mention you kind of need to know how to stick a deeper wound. He's be better off with glue. Or even sellotape

honeyroar · 02/04/2018 22:14

It will have been in salt water for a good while, which won't have done it any harm.

Itsnotanthrax · 02/04/2018 22:27

I'm the same yawning. I'm trothed to Corrie.
I agree Pat has got another murder in him. But I think it will be a bigger character than an Irish B&B landlady.
Personally I'm hoping for a suicide/murder with Eileen.

southeastdweller · 02/04/2018 22:29

It's almost like Kate Oates is trolling the viewers now. She should be grateful Corrie has so many loyal viewers who put up with the crap.

Akire · 02/04/2018 22:36

He needs a wig/hat/moustache to start with! He could try murder Eileen for Not saving him I suppose. Or summer or Todd. It’s going be a long summer of “He’s behind you!”

Could he have had his van keys in pocket? Driven miles away and be quiet safe?

Optimist1 · 02/04/2018 22:37

I thought we were supposed to believe he was in Ireland, but the police made no mention of the boat being missing, did they?
