I haven't seen Corrie all week, but if my bloody DH ever stops bingewatching "Being Human" , I might get to see it on catch-up.

DD came downstairs saying "Phelan gets his head chopped off" but I'm guessing that's not the case ?.........

Well if he did get his head chopped off it would have been a hell of a lot more entertaining than what actually happened!

I didn’t think it was an anti-climax. Ice not liked the Phelan storyline at all but Corrie do do good villains and tonight must be a Corrie classic and yes, he really did say “Come on Eileen”

I'm glad the storyline is over. Tonight's episode wasn't great but the Phelan actor did well with a poor script. I couldn't be bothered with a court case/reappearance so hopefully they'll find his body.

The Simon storyline is going to be boring.

I love Tim's dad and Audrey.

Looks like Fiz will be in it for the foreseeable future, unfortunately.

In a couple of years time, Eileen will be walking home in the dark, and she'll hear a menacing voice say softly " Hello, Eileen......"

I think he will be back in BGT finals week when it’s on at 9 pm.

I reckon it was Carla's car that Simon smashed. I hate what they are doing with Simon's character, same old same old kid going off the rails.

Given that rather pontifical parting speech, I'd give it about three days before he reappears....

Also given Liz’s “it’s all over now” line at the end of the episode, I’m really not so sure he is gone.
