I agree. Hitting a policeman isn't a life sentence offence. You would come back and "face the music". Eileen does seems curiously unconcerned about Todd (as do the police) - how is he getting by for money etc? I suppose the writers didn't want to kill him off (Off screen) in a car crash or the like in case they decide in the future to bring him back with a new head.

I quite like Zeedan, and Yasmine, but not keen on Alya.

I prefer Alya to Kate though so if they carry on fighting about who moves out I hope it's Kate that packs her bags.

There's a story today that the new producer's going to focus more on the older actors which I'd be up for. There's a lot of deadwood among the young cast - Fizz, Sawphie, Alya, Kate, Sinead, Craig and Chesney. But is he going to be brave and do a cull which Kate Oates didn't? I hope so!

Classic CS being repeated currently has done modern CS no favours. The difference in quality is in sharp focus. And the number of characters was about right (though I appreciate they would need a few extra now, because there are more eps per week).
