We all know that the writers read MN after all. Apparently it’s on at 8.30pm this eve?

I really don’t see it going in that direction at all. Aidan is a far too well established character with no form whatsoever for preying on children or even older teens.

CrumbliestFlakiest · 16/04/2018 20:57

What bloody time was Michelle's dinner party if all that has kicked off, Roy's gone to bed but Sinead and Daniel are strolling down the street squinting in the sunshine!! After Zidane in the snow and Rana in the rain.Hmm

ZibbidooZibbidooZibbidoo · 16/04/2018 21:01

😂😂😂

I didn’t even notice all the weather/daylight!

Akire · 16/04/2018 21:06

I don’t means he’s going prey he’s nice guy just summer is all over him so where is it going?

Yorkshirebetty · 16/04/2018 21:12

I agree, Hygge, I'm well confused by the Connor family tree Confused I keep telling myself that Carla and unlikely GP have no familial connection. I also have to agree with Clawdy et al - getting down with Rana when full of flu and mucus Hmm....

cloudyweewee · 16/04/2018 21:16

Talking of mixed up families, Toyah referred to herself as Simon's auntie, but she's also a sort of step mum as well

ZibbidooZibbidooZibbidoo · 16/04/2018 21:18

Yes I was also Confused when Eva referred to herself as auntie to Toyah’s baby. For starters, toyah isnt her sister! But she will actually be it’s mother!! Grin

deadringer · 16/04/2018 21:50

Yes Hygge I would have loved a diagram!

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 16/04/2018 21:50

How come Toyah can afford to rent Eva a large detached river front cottage with large garden? Utterly ridiculous!

blackbunny · 16/04/2018 22:26

Yasmeen is Zeedans gran, right? So tonight when she says to Rana "I would have loved a daughter like you"(or something like that) surely she meant "granddaughter like you"?
I loved the Fanny talk.
I had a little bit of sick in my mouth when Michelle told Carla about Robert dragging her back to bed, ugh !

Akire · 16/04/2018 22:30

What was fanny talk?? I missed 10min if second half. Why does no one bonk in bedrooms only in front rooms?

Yasmine could do with decent story lines of her own. Suppose now deals off he repays money. No restaurant, goes back sulking around the other one (can’t keep up with what’s it called)

Yorkshirebetty · 16/04/2018 22:35

Speed Dahl is part of the new set, so Zee must be able to keep the money. I have no idea why people don't use bedrooms or otherwise seek more privacy. The Fanny conversation was good, especially Sweet Fanny Adams, which put everyone off their crayfish tails.

blackbunny · 16/04/2018 22:45

Don't like the sound of brown trout either- doesn't trout taste muddy?

Clawdy · 16/04/2018 22:48

Brown trout is a euphemism for poo, isn't it?

Clawdy · 16/04/2018 22:49

Oops, no it's not!Grin

scrabbler3 · 16/04/2018 22:50

I can't see Aiden being attracted to someone who is 13 and looks even younger, but I don't know what's likely to happen. Maybe it's just a "crush" storyline or even Summer seeking a kindly father figure having been let down by Todd, Billy and Phelan.

I'm surprised that Summer is living at Eileen's. I would have expected the grandparents to kick off about the Phelan scandal, and insist on bringing her to their house.

Loved the fanny talk at the dinner table. Reminded me of Classic Corrie (not the topic so much, but the realistic discussion and tangents). Roy is brilliant. Jenny is very good.

Was about to say that Jenny was lovely with Percy, before realising that I've mixed up the two eras!

Clawdy · 16/04/2018 22:52

I actually thought Jenny's drunken acting was embarrassing, that scene was badly written though.

thenightsky · 16/04/2018 22:56

Why was Carla going on about Michelle having bruises and hinting darkly that Robert was knocking her about? I must have missed something (again).

cloudyweewee · 17/04/2018 06:18

My favourite fanny joke was when Carla said that Fanny by gaslight was a Victorian gynaecologist Grin
Why is Micheel getting bruises? Is it from energetic shagging due to the steroids or what?

cloudyweewee · 17/04/2018 06:19

Michelle

GlacindaTheTroll · 17/04/2018 06:34

"Oh give up no one has given any spoilers away you’re being precious! "

There isn't the 'NO SPOILERS' warning in the thread title, but if this is that thread, then it is hard-line and includes no cast movements, because there are people who simply do not read the same stuff.

There is however a thread for those who do like to discuss cast comings and goings, how a character will be written out, media coverage etc

Housewife2010 · 17/04/2018 06:50

Even my 10 yr old DD questioned the timescales last night. Michelle's dinner was to start at 6. They had had their starters, got very drunk, disappeared to the Rovers and it was still daylight when Sinead was walking down the street.

kikashi · 17/04/2018 11:05

How did Carla think Ali was going to tackle Robert about his drug taking at a family dinner - just announce it to all and sundry? Really disliking Carla's return story lines.

Can someone remind me how Summer knows Aidan so well - did he help her in someway previously?

eddiemairswife · 17/04/2018 11:15

Billy is never mentioned now. Surely he'll be out of rehab sometime soon.

Akire · 17/04/2018 11:49

That’s odd thing with Summer he wasn’t a family friend or anything of Billy Eileen or Todd. Think she only knows him from around the street. Somehow taken a fancy to him Start when he broke up with Eva and she finding out if he’s still single!! Surely any single adult male would run a mile however innocent from 12y girls. Just in case
