I’ve caught up on a week of masterchef now! Was on holidays so had a marathon last night ehen I got back.

Glad Greg is gone. Death Pilot is growing on me now, his dessert looked amazing. Nisha was a good cook but was her time to go I think. Ditto George, although he was so sweet. Love Alex and Kenny, would love to eat their food. And Moonira is like a whirlwind but food looks great. Nawamin’s food looks amazing but he reminds me of a former colleague who was a nightmare to work with so through no fault of his I can’t warm to him!

Tonight I’m making crispy spiced duck legs, pancakes, hoisin sauce and veg with a side of pal Choi and some crispy onions. First time to try.

How many in the final? I liked Greg - he has a cheeky look when he presented his plates like a child who's just done something really smart.

They are all grey though - but remember what it was like way back when it started?
