I can't find a thread on it. I really like it but I think it's probably not got a huge audience.

I missed it first time round so currently watching series 1 on catch up. I like it!

BoogieFeet · 20/03/2018 13:29

I love it Smile. I loved the other show Jo Brand did too - the nursing one. She’s extremely underrated imo. Recently rewatched the first series of Damned as my DH hadn’t seen it. He’s a fan now too..

cheesydoesit · 20/03/2018 13:44

I do, it's great. Mimi is a good addition. I love the friction between her and Nat.

SoleBizzz · 20/03/2018 13:46

I love it. Double episode this week

thenightsky · 20/03/2018 13:47

I love it, but I keep forgetting to watch it. I'm going to find it on catch up now and have a binge watch this afternoon!

hatgirl · 20/03/2018 13:56

I enjoy it but it's not very realistic.

In my local authority it's lucky if social workers even have their own desk to sit at let alone dedicated admin support!

ItsAllDoomAndGloom · 20/03/2018 15:56

We love it! Glad the word is being spread!

runningtogetskinny · 20/03/2018 18:25

I love it but agree some of its unrealistic, no one has a minute taker for a meeting, lucky to get one even for CP conference! However, it's not a documentary and there are bits that are (sadly) very realistic. The relationships between people are well observed, I think Jo Brand is great and also enjoyed Getting On

AlonsoTigerHeart · 20/03/2018 18:26

I think.it's great.
Jo has some great one liners that have me howling.

Knackerelli · 20/03/2018 21:39

I love it but it’s on too late for me so watch it on catch up. You know that it’s not realistic but it’s not meant to be a documentary! Love the addition of Mimi and the rapport between Jo Brand and Alan Davies characters.

Xmasbaby11 · 20/03/2018 21:41

Dh is a social worker and some rings true with him. I find it hilarious - characters are excellent!

Waspsarewankers · 20/03/2018 21:46

I love this but think this series isn't quite as good as the first.
I love Jo Brand and enjoyed Getting On as well.

PencilsInSpace · 20/03/2018 22:00

Yes me Grin It's fucking ace and everyone should watch it. It's wonderfully observed, intelligent, bitter-sweet humour.

Also it's one of the very few decent programmes that's on for 1/2 hour which is just long enough for a cup of tea.

bonfireheart · 20/03/2018 22:14

Absolutely love it. Don't know why it isn't promoted properly, keep forgetting it's on me. Mimi is brill!

ThisIsAWifeMineNow · 21/03/2018 23:09

Double bill tonight!

So glad to find some other fans. Yes Mimi is great! All the cast are great but the actor who plays Nitin is a fantastic comic actor. Also like the camaderie between Rose and Al as a pp said.

It's brilliant. I like Nitin and his crisp dandruffSmile

senua · 22/03/2018 09:01

Fantastic programme, great observational humour.
Last night was 6/6 of the series.Sad

Tartyflette · 22/03/2018 09:07

I love the way Nitin is a bit of a twat personally but great at his job, passionate and with his heart in the right place. I'm really enjoying it.

ItsAllDoomAndGloom · 22/03/2018 09:23

Night-in is my favourite. He used to be Tamwar in Eastenders!

Change9944 · 22/03/2018 09:28

Love it too. Fell asleep watching the last episode. Going to re watch now.
I also loved getting on. Jo Brand is brilliant

AlonsoTigerHeart · 22/03/2018 19:02

TheQueenOfWands · 22/03/2018 19:05

Awww, was Tamwar the one who got burnt?

That was quite a harrowing scene. Excellent acting.

NorfolksGiven · 22/03/2018 19:05

Doesn’t Mummy Pig write and also star in this... the one with the foster son and the knob cake...

Morwenna Banks I think her name is

PickAChew · 22/03/2018 19:11

Yes, she plays Ingrid.

I should look for the first series because I never saw that.
