I can't find a thread on it. I really like it but I think it's probably not got a huge audience.

I do - love it!

NorfolksGiven · 22/03/2018 19:20

First series also brilliant. I love it. It just so clever and nuanced. Jo Brand is so talented. She has a film coming out in April -

I’m a student SW and hope I don’t come across like Mimi Grin when I go on placement.

Just googled Morwenna Banks and her partner is David Baddiel who is also funny.

brimfullofasha · 22/03/2018 19:20

I watch it too. Jo Brand is brilliant and I like the way they tackle difficult social work stuff sensitively and it is still really funny.

NashvilleQueen · 22/03/2018 19:22

Love it. It’s a really strong cast. And I sort of fancy Nitin for some reason.

Yes I didn't realise it was Morwenna Banks playing Ingrid until halfway through the 2nd series! I love that meeting where she says she can't have people sitting on her left side and everyone else is like FFS.

I think Al and Rose would make a good couple, that might just be me!

Thanks for that Norfolks I will definitely keep an eye out for the film.

Liked the first series even though it's not realistic. Love jo brand but not keen on the other man, Alan someone. Thought the second series was trying too hard to make political points which I found dull so stopped watching.

EasterBunBun · 23/03/2018 07:36

Brilliant and underrated series . Think that is the end of Series 2 as Series 1 was quite short as well ?

BishopBrennansArse · 23/03/2018 07:39

Love it.
Apparently Jo's Mum is a social worker so she runs ideas for plot lines past her.

WhirlwindHugs · 23/03/2018 07:42

I love it, it's brilliant. I hadn't heard of t until this season though, agree it should be advertised better.

People with social worker knowledge, would the staff who work with children with disabilities be a different department?

liquidrevolution · 23/03/2018 22:47

Right have done series 1 and up to date on series 2 now. Blimey episode 5 is an emotional rollercoaster.

Blackgrouse · 25/03/2018 00:56

WhirlWindHugs where I work there are Child Protection, Fostering & Adoption and Children with Disabilities teams and numerous teams within those based on areas of the city. The teams and staff are sited at different locations throughout the city.

In the past I worked in a small locality office building which housed various adult and children's teams.
