I've been suffering again with a headache that is just about going. I don't know what it is about weekends

Oh no, another headache, that's a bit worrying, have you been to the Doc's?

I was supposed to be going out tonight but had a bit of a heavy night last night so just recuperating on the sofa today. I'm still in my pjs! 😀 4 large glasses of wine and a low carb diet don't mix well as there's no stodge to soak up the alcohol. However I've lost over a stone this year so losing my tolerance to alcohol is a tolerable price to pay!

And this week I've been able to fit into my jeans and a pair of linen trousers I haven't been able to wear for over a year so am v happy....😀

Destiny I have always suffered from migraines, but in the past few months I've had a lot of just constant dull headaches. I've had blood tests and things , and I'm low in vitamin d- but that's about it. I'm hoping they will improve when the whether gets better- I don't think the heating helps (I'm always turning it off).

I must admit, I've lost weight too (but mainly because I feel too sick to eat a lot of the time)- but apart from last weekend, I've not drunk since New Year.

I'm not really missing it, (although I think the Voice would be vastly improved through beer goggles).

Well done Destiny! I'm trying to get to grips with my weight. I have in the past lost 5 stone but some a lot has crept back up and coupled with a knee injury, which has meant I'm not walking so much, I'm feeling like a beached whale.

Thanks, Rousette I need it to go, because whilst feeling under the weather yesterday, I agreed to help out on DD2's school trip on Monday. I didn't get chance to think of an excuse (usually my excuse is I can't leave the dog for too long- but dh is working from home om Monday ).

And it's not even an indoor trip- it's to a farm . In the rain

Eeeek Raahh! But at least it's not like the last school trip I did when mine were in primary school - it was to the local sewage works. Yes really! Twas an interesting experience and as you can imagine, the kids loved it!

Hi all! Missed the last couple of weeks as I suddenly got a life (temporarily ). Back to my usual sitting in in front of the box now! What did I miss?

Sewage works ! oh my! Mind you, the way the teacher has been talking about this trip, I think we might end up up to our necks in mud .

Raah, I love a trip to the farm! I'm a vet and used to be a farm vet, only do small animals now, so there is a real nostalgia around the farm for me.

Platypus apart from walking my dog (which I do a lot) I'm really not a very out doorsy person. I have borrowed some wellies from my mum. .

It's all part of their animal topic. We are going to 2 farms, I think. DD2 is looking forward to seeing the pigs.

Pigs are ace ( but very smelly!) They are so smart.

There are bound to be some cute lambs at this time of year too.

I love the smells

I could have volunteered for the Cadbury world trip ...
