I am not very organised this week, and can imagine myself falling asleep before it startsGrin.

When Dd was 5 we had a whole class party & ended up with 40 kids & random parents in a church hall. We had a magician/entertainer who was 15 minutes late. They were the longest 15 minutes of my life, I seriously considered sneaking out the back door & leaving Dp to deal with it! Never again!

nancy I am relying on the fact that at 8/9 they are slightly more mature and well behaved. As long as I don't go on a mass murder spree ,I will count it a success. I am also hoping that parents dump and run, because entertaining them is not on my cards.

The parents are the worst, you can just ignore the kids turning feral but you have to actually talk to the parents
