Kat used to look ok. Now she looks awful.

I was also mesmerised by kats make up - and not in a good way! Lips in bright red that don't follow her natural line, bright blue eye shadow, drunk caterpillars for eyebrows and rectangle shaped blushed cheeks.

Maybe Kat is going to become the next Pat Butcher? What happened to her lottery win money? Ireland is an incredibly expensive place to live but unless they bought a house there, they wouldn't have spent a million pounds less than three years ago. Then again, healthcare is private there too so maybe Alfie spent thousands and thousands on emergency medical bills.

What on earth is going on with the chess-in-a-shed storyline? Either Mr Spam will groom Bernie to be world chess champ and earns loads of money or it will all turn nasty.
It seems strange that no-one is questioning the amount of time a vulnerable teenage girl spends alone in a dark shed with a man old enough to be her grandfather. Why does Karen never show an interest in what Bernie's doing? I do hope we're not in for a paedophile story - don't think we've had a public information episode about that recently.

I did wonder last night if the story was going that way when Joyce said to Bernie he has a history of helping kids.

I think it was questioned at the start, before she mentioned she was learning chess.

Mr Spam gives me the creeps. He's all jovial and bouncy one minute and then nasty the next. I wouldn't be happy for my teenage DD to be hanging around that shed with him, even if it is just to learn chess.

I have no idea why Keegan was suspended I know Bernie took the blame when he threw a brick at a teachers car and she was suspended but Keegan I really hope Ted isn't a paedophile the spams are just odd.

Bernie is surely done with her suspension - why is she available to play chess in Mr Spam’s shed?
