Tanya told Ian about Max/Jane/Stephen, I don't think we saw it but we did see Ian come out of the house and attack Max in the street saying he killed Stephen (I think that was Xmas day)

Jane was desperate not to leave Ian, now the threat from Max is over it makes no sense that she hasn't come back - it was the worst exit of a major character they have ever done

I always thought Jane would come back. She has been gone so long now, it’s very unlikely. What about Bobby? Maybe they won’t bring him back either and will say he has gone to live with Jane, then he will reappear as a nineteen year old and they can do something I yeresti g with him. They do need three boys of the same age in EE as they already have Denny and William who we barely see. This way will leave Ian free to be a completely new character or at least have a new start. Maybe that was the point of him going away and coming back looking a little different. No kids, pursuing women, ok financially. A new relationship is on the cards for him (not with Mel despite his efforts). It obviously doesn’t make any sense as he wouldn’t have forgotten about Jane and he never really changes but this is EE.......
