When Bernie had baby sure she said she had her first young so imagine she was 14/15 so if oldest is 30 Would make her 45. I struggle to put her under 40 and her oldest has be more than 25 given the son is what 21?

I think 38 - 40. Keanu is the oldest, not Chantelle.

I got the impression, from what Keanu said to Mitch, when Mitch was talking about working on a site, that Mitch has touched them for money, and maybe Karen has been a soft touch in the past. Which might explain why he's come back.

I thought Keanu was probably about early to mid 20s. I think you can do an apprenticeship at any age?

So if Keanu is 20/21 then Mitch must have been on scene from when he was a baby until he was 4 ish as Keegan is 17. Bernie is 15 and different Dad so he was gone by then! Twins are 10/11? And their dad is definitely 'around' as they visit him a lot.

Keegan didn't seem to recognise his dad and it's odd Keanu remembers so much about him if he was so young at the time. Does make me wonder if he's been in and out of the picture.

I'm interested in where storyline will go as Keegan told Aidan he 'liked it here' last week.

I have to admit I enjoyed last nights episode, even tho not much happened, I'm feeling cautiously optimistic that things are looking up - it does show how bad it's got when I was quite pleased to see Ian back last night! I'm noticing subtle 'wrapping up' of old storylines too, last night Ian said Jane had moved on so I guess that story is done as well as Luke. I'm also hoping mas and kaffy get together as I think they'd be funny and Ian would hate it!

Am I the only one who is loving the chess storyline? It's so ordinary and heartwarming, and they are building their own mini community.

If 'Jane has moved on' is the end of the Max blackmailing Steven to bump Jane off, setting the restaurant on fire, leaving Jane to burn to death and getting fatally wounded himself story, I feel seriously cheated. What a cop-out! It's a worse ending than 'And then I woke up and it was all a dream'.

Why doesn't Jay go back to working in the Arches? He is a proper mechanic and worked there for years?

I'm sure you have to have suitable qualifications to be a funeral director and I'm sure Jay doesn't have them!

I was glad about garage finally Phil sees sense and keeps it open. Quite what they live off I don’t know.

Maybe the new dad got Karen in a lot of debt hence all bitterness.

I wish Maz would get a stall on the market waste of time in chippy. Surely you can get a business loan to get going? He does have the house after all.

Hope Jane story is all done so many unanswered questions.

Jay is now running the funeral parlour isn't he? he hasnt worked for Phil in a while.
the writers have forgotten Jane - she was mentioned in passing but not in a serious way. does anyone see a Kathy / Mas hook up? or just me?
How has Ian money for first class to NZ? thats a lot of money. the chippy hasnt been re-opened that long and the cafe cant make that much in profit - cant remember what happened to the other business that was set alight, yet he can afford a 'flatbed'. in my world, thats my son digging over the garden for me.
the chess is a bit tension filled and i dont like the look of Mitch much either, seems trouble and there is history with the oldest girl i assume. The garage is so sparse, most have those ramp things to have a look under neath and all manner of electrical equipment for today's modern engines. Phil's has none of of the above!
he sidestepped news about Peter too didnt he? and not even asked about Lauren and Louis who he did adore. he may have a beard, but he is the same Ian Beale and will think he has a chance with Mel i bet!

I also hope Masood and Kaff get together. They would make a good couple, they've both got quite dry sense of humour. But then Ian has to deal with Masood having been with his wife and mother!
I am lookingofrward to seeing how Mel explains her previous relationship with Ian to Munter.

Maybe the actor has less than perfect skin and they just put it on to make him look better? it does look a bit much.
he could be in competition with Whitney maybe? or has Tiff doing it for him?

Kathy does fancy Mas - he likes her but he isn't picking up on her vibes.
That's how I see it.
He doesn't have much luck with women usually.

Some men wear make up - 'guy liner 'etc. ds1 had a friend who used to like black nail varnish! Anything goes these days.
The chess is compelling - I know nothing about it personally but I love the pieces they are using! Looks cold in that shed.
Ian B is so smug. From Woolley hats to flat beds. His come a long way.

The Queen in laundrette? Could only see bottom half but was black white pucture. Very strange given refurb why would you have something up relating to commonwealth? Unless it’s some famous person in old dress sash and broach.

Bored of the Vik not making money. For goodness sake you just spent 6m making money with every kind of night going. If you really have to ask for ideas there’s no chance.
