Creme. I might give up too. Give it a break and hope the others on here tell me what’s going on!

LineysInTheSnow · 05/03/2018 21:12

I see we're back to fairy tales.

dogsdinnerlady · 05/03/2018 21:16

Phil seems to have grown a couple of extra chins. Sharon reminds me of that bird puppet on TV, an emu I think, the one with the big round body and legs sticking out the bottom. Why are they all getting so big?

The80sweregreat · 05/03/2018 21:19

They all drink sips of alcohol and eat doughnuts on set to keep warm! ( I don’t know it’s a guess) tv puts pound on you too, hence the reason I am not a celeb / actor

Akire · 05/03/2018 21:59

Why is Aiden friendly with Phil? His wife stole the cash! What has Aiden on Mel wasn’t she Ceira friend/pet?

LineysInTheSnow · 05/03/2018 22:03

We're Phil and Aidan cellmates?

Namethecat · 05/03/2018 22:08

Has anyone noticed the prices of food in the caff - very cheap. And in the other one tonight Mushroom soup with a roll - £1.80 ! What decade are they in ?

LineysInTheSnow · 05/03/2018 22:15

Yes, very cheap café food for London. It's so all the teenagers can eat there :)

Optimist1 · 05/03/2018 22:32

Akire - I think on the other side of the door it was a petrol can with a note on it saying a date and time.

Akire · 05/03/2018 22:36

OH nice! Well they can’t pay so it’s do him in or leave. Anyone else think his walking stick has a secret gun in it?

DameSquashalot · 05/03/2018 22:52

The note said 'Thursday 8pm'

Akire · 05/03/2018 22:57

Exciting Grin now we have 72 hours to save the Vic *again

iknowimcoming · 05/03/2018 23:46

I do feel like we're building up to a big Vincent/mick/billy/Mel/Jay/Phil/jack teaming up to get rid of Aidan and I really hope so as I'd hate this plot to be another let-down and I've had a gut full of Aidan so I think the thing in the box will be his downfall. I sniggered at the 8pm Thursday note - just the exact moment of thursdays duff duff then eh? Hmm

Akire · 05/03/2018 23:53

Hehe imcoming. Have to say between this and Corrie all
Im thinking about is how to do in and get rid of bodies.

Why hasn’t Billy moved into Jays? Cheap and close. Ditto Martin and
Whit.

I’m calling a secret seven meeting of the original gang to do him in. Somewhere no one ever goes .... like the allotments.

Poor Aiden every scence starts or ends with him loitering suspiciously in a dark corner.

Akire · 05/03/2018 23:56

OH and I know ever other posts of mine start... why/what but what did happen do teenage who had baby? What was point? Her mum was bad evil but then she went to stay with her?? If my best mate had her baby delivered by my estranged mum you think za za would be in touch.

Thebirthdayparty · 06/03/2018 01:03

Aidan lit up in the cafe to show he can do whatever he wants I suppose?

Mel is in a very vulnerable place all day sitting down in a basement with the door unlocked all day even though they aren’t yet open. Why hasn’t she licked the door? I have to say though that I like her a lot. She just slotted right in, we already knew her back story so none of that trying to work out what she is like. It was a great move bringing her back.

The newer characters were given a raw deal while the writers could no t make up their minds what way to portray them and were totally inconsistent.

I enjoyed tonight’s episode apart from the silly Aidan mobster storyline.

Glad to see Jay back in it and he seems tougher, unafraid of Phil/Aidan. I wonder who will take over Billy’s job? Another new character must be due? And Honey will have to leave the flat.

Stu123 · 06/03/2018 01:09

What the chuff is in that bloody box?! My money’s on it being Auntie Miriam’s samosa recipe.

iknowimcoming · 06/03/2018 08:40

I dunno stu but presumably Keanu, Jay and now Phil know what's in there, whilst Aidan thinks it's long gone six feet under. I thought it looked there being a glimmer of honey taking billy back last night. Also a decent locksmith would solve 90% of the problems they have in the vic! Just need decent locks on the barrel store, alley and the roof door - mind you that'd also be 90% of the storylines!

Thebirthdayparty · 06/03/2018 10:03

I don’t think Aidan wanted whatever is in the box buried. He gave it to Keanu knowing Keanu would look inside and probably tell the other ‘gang’ members and they’d all then know he is dangerous and a man not to be messed with. At least that was my take on it when he asked Keanu if he looked inside the box and said you are a terrible liar.

I’m wondering if the whole thing was a stitch up in order to say that a number of people owe him money and he can blackmail them all and get justice for his brother in the meantime by including Vincent. He chose a very random bunch, they either had businesses or were as thick as planks.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 06/03/2018 10:34

I think Jay is brilliant, he has a very strong moral core. I hope he stays in EE for a long time and gets a decent girlfriend soon not Whitney

The whole mobsters story is doing my nut. I much prefer the family meltdowns and illicit affairs. Even the bins storyline was better than this.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 06/03/2018 10:38

Also I don't think Aiden has a long contract, I think he'll be murdered by Xmas at the latest, the suspects are lining up already. It might even go a bit murder on the orient express.

southeastdweller · 06/03/2018 10:43

I liked the scene last night where Aidan hit Billy - I thought it was dramatic , believable and unexpected. I like Aidan as a villain and think Patrick Bergin is doing a great job but it's the confusion about the loot that's annoying. I expected him to leave in the next week or two but seeing Kathy being rather 'the lady doth protest too much' with him makes me think he's going to be in it for a few more months at least.

Thebirthdayparty · 06/03/2018 11:24

Who said it will go ontil Christmas? NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where is Bobby Beale. Surely he is due out to find his brother in NZ, his stepbrother dead, his mum missing and his Dad on holidays (cause having your close grandson disappear after all that is a great time to have a little jaunt after all).

The80sweregreat · 06/03/2018 11:36

I love Jay - i was distracted last night with phone calls and stuff so i watched it again today. who will Phil side with? he must have cottoned on that Sharon is something to do with the money? poor Billy, Mel looked really spooked by that.
i agree about Mel, fitted in well, the back story was dealt with and its like she never left.
i think that if the gangster stories keep on though, people might start switching off although Aidan is really scary.

arriettyspiders · 06/03/2018 11:45

Didn't the villains use to be so much more villainous on EE? Aidan is more pantomime baddie.

I don't feel in the least bit concerned that Mock is in any real danger of serious physical harm, or that they may (again!) be in danger of losing the Vic. I think they need to change the record as it's quite dull.
Also liking Mel, she's quite convincing character.
