It's just a mess at the moment and there's no continuity. It's like they're making it up as they go.

Continuity is dreadful - the day when Bernie was due to play chess at 5.30 it was daylight when she and Tiff were outside the house, she said she was late and then she dashed to the allotment where it was pitch dark (Corrie is also notoriously bad for changing day to night and back again).

some stories have just fallen by the by - linda being all gangster woman and hard isn't really her nature and i tend to zone out a lot when its on these days and miss things.

Yes I found that scene very emotional and feel they explored the emotional side well.
Not sure why they can't extend that to other storylines 🤦🏼‍♀️

Shame never let Dee study more, she has some random job with the council that used to be/is also Carmel’s. So no skills or qualifications needed. Can’t be on that much more than mim wage maybe plus £1 an hour? What happened to ambition!!

Anyone think they are setting up another 'Who killed.....Aiden' storyline here. Like most people who get hit with that storyline, there is a build up with Aiden going round the square and systematically making enemies/ruining people. Sounds like the writers are building up to this to me.

Shame Ronnie isn't in it anymore. She would have sorted him out by now.

To be honest, these blackmail/dodgy dealings story lines aren't sitting well with me. I kind of preferred it when they were moaning about the bins and it was more character driven and not full of pantomime villains.

Well hopefully this is their Easter story line who killed JP. But I doubt it. It’s really boring because never ends, even if Mik pays up there be some other reason. Plus then all other gang members to bribe, it could go on for years.

Up thread someone said James W-B was dead. Is he? We saw him in hospital and Fi leaving but never actually were told he was dead. and Josh never mentioned his father was dead.
Tif calling Hunter Munter is great. She is a real characterture of her mother. Munter's got more foundation on than even Whitney.

When Max couldn't come to terms with Abbie being dead, Josh said that he felt the same when his dad died. W-B all but died on screen, we just didn't see him take his last gasp.

I mentioned that we think he died. It was never actually shown but we were shown and told he was on his last legs and knew cancer was terminal.
I think the storyline was meant to portray Fi leaving him to die alone!

I stoppped watching last week and didn’t miss it actually! Things that have annoyed me;

• Aidan story line dragging on and essentially ruining Vincent and his family, I actually really like Vincent
• Stacey and Martin separating
• Max disappearing
• Anything involving Aidan
• The way Lauren left
• Aidan

I will be perusing this thread though in the hope it gets better even though my evenings are more productive
