Much of this thread has been women describing themselves in comfy nightwear, eating crisps, drinking and watching too much telly. A pp uploaded a picture of Les Dawson and his sidekick dressed as women, saying here I am waiting for a bus.

I don't think well paid, well dressed tv stars would consider our on line giggles as physical threats and insults?

I'd have less of a problem with a man who doesn't parody women winning.

This may sound naive but I'd actually never thought about that before. Actually it is really offensive to women to just dress up like one and parody them for entertainment if you are man (as opposed to transgender/transitioning).

Yet some how society has been manipulated to get to the point where if you criticise a drag queen you are somehow bigotted and not open minded.

Cf Shane banging on and on about Anne not respecting him because she wouldn't refer to him as her/Courtney - whereas Anne made the perfectly fair point that it was a character and you wouldn't call a Coronation St actress by their character name because they were the person not the character.

Modern western Society is a mess isn't it really.

Calling someone "scary eyes" is a physical insult. You can try and argue otherwise but I'm sorry if I'm "sucking the joy" of a cbb thread by saying so

Emma's interview with Ann didn't surprise me. She can't conceal her dislike. When you think of some of the previous housemates shocking/obscene behaviour over the years, which she often shockingly ignored, but she tried to embarrass Ann by reminding her of her hatred of swearing except when it was Amanda. Terrible interview.
