Cannot believe I wasted time watching something with the worst ending of any series I have ever seen. I cannot believe it! Anyone else annoyed to the point of screaming..

Massively disappointing. I knew it was him and wasn’t expecting a big ‘whodunnit’ ending but that was crap.

I'm tired of watching programmes continually showing injustice faced everyday by young black men. Even if for tv, I would have loved to see a white man truly being charged for a crime he has committed. Sigh

This is my everyday fear for my DS

I don't mind a few plot holes and a bit of suspension of disbelief. I don't mind it when we don't find out exactly how things work out. But I couldn't bear the lack of resolution between the mother and her son. She thought he'd killed Kiri; he knew that's what she thought - why on earth didn't he say something?

(And why did he flip from being weird last week - watching her in the shower etc - to being so sensitive this week?)

Totally agree. He even said he only loved his mum so I really don’t understand why he left his mum thinking he’d killed her when he knows his mum is having an affair and doesn’t want to be with this dad. It’s as if they’ve tried to do a massive plot twist but lost the original plan and fudged it.

There should bea warning posted at the beginning of a series like that. Something like “watching this may cause viewer disappointment which may lead to undue violence and the producers cannot be held liable for broken tv screens”.Angry

Yep. Huge waste of my life watching for that crappy lazy ending. It's like the writer couldn't be arsed to write anymore. It felt like a "and then we woke up and it was all a dream" lazy equivalent.

I wanted to like this as I loved Sarah Lancashire in Happy Valley. But I found it odd. The characters, the writing, the ending. All crap and odd.
