Who needs cocoa when you've got a cheeky Sauv Blanc before bed?

LOLS to Dapper calling Andrew out on his dislike of Ashley cos he didn't pull her Grin

sheldonesque · 30/01/2018 01:16

And here's me thinking that the BB house was in a little bubble.

I could be forgiven that Shourtney was on these threads, putting his point. across. slowly. again,. and. again. the. same. one. over. and over.

And still not getting anyone to agree with him but the little Andrews and Malikas of the world.

I must have got giddy with all the chocolate biscuits and wine. Smile

rocking an Annightie with my feet in a basin because I don't have a hot tub

sheldonesque · 30/01/2018 01:20

forgiven for thinking

Sorry.

IsItDinnerTimeYet · 30/01/2018 01:36

I am always a day behind you all as I have to watch on YouTube so have just watched the Amanda/ShaneJ chat in the bathroom. I thought ShaneJ was actually really nervous during that talk, he couldn't lift his eyes from looking downwards and seemed very uncomfortable. Almost like he is not used to someone just accepting whatever he has to say.

I also feel like we need to do a Chocolate Biscuit intervention - it is not good for AWiddy to be having so much sugar before bed!

picklemepopcorn · 30/01/2018 08:08

Right my turn to watch now... yay!

BeyondWitchbitchterf · 30/01/2018 08:30

Yeah sleep, dapper looks almost pleasant when you stick him on a panel next to slime man, doesn't he!

Youcanstayundermyumbrella · 30/01/2018 09:08

Shane J looks set to win based on my social media.

picklemepopcorn · 30/01/2018 09:53

I'll be so disappointed if he wins 'year of the woman'. All his talk about wanting to understand Ann being 'mistaken for coming for her'. We can tell the difference!

Have he and Ashley got botoxed foreheads? There is something expressionless about them.

RavenclawRealist · 30/01/2018 09:59

Ok caught up! I think the BB lawyers are running a little scared aren't they I feel like Ann in the diary room was them giving her a way to defend her self!!

Shane j started well with the apologies but then all that in nominations!! Really!! It wasn't hard we all knew who you would pick and of course you were coming for Ann! He knows it's all on camera right??

No massive surprise in the nominations, although I do wonder what we don't see about Malika breaking rules?

My guess for going is Ashley, Malika and then it's either Amanda or Shane L I'm leaning toward Shane L 😢 not that I want to loose Amanda either!

The hot tub was a nice moment. I think it maybe highlighted shane j problem though everyone else out having fun not while he pontificates alone! A better episode all round for Shane J just before evictions Hmm what timing!

Alwaysinmyheart · 30/01/2018 10:06

Personally I feel this ‘ Year of the Woman’ has been such a joke from start to finish that it would be pretty fitting if a drag queen won!

picklemepopcorn · 30/01/2018 10:11

I was surprised by how pro Malika Wayne was. IMO we don't see her doing anything very nice except the beautician stuff. She's quite negative for someone who claims to see the best in people.

Youcanstayundermyumbrella · 30/01/2018 10:24

I've almost finished my catch up now. I can see more why so many threadsters are so pro-Ann. My own reservations about her are completely unconnected with her interactions with most of the housemates, which are entertaining to watch!

Also, Ann's comment about Andrew's mother and grandmother, which I had only half absorbed when watching the evictions on Friday, is a response to Andrew saying 'we thought you hadn't seen that [the scissoring], Ann' and her saying 'your mother and grandmother almost certainly did'. So the disapproval was implicit, definitely, but I suspect that sentence caused Andrew to feel that discomfort that Ann's behaviour in general engendered with the lads.

Youcanstayundermyumbrella · 30/01/2018 10:29

And when I say my own reservations, I don't mean her opinions, although I don't share them.

BrownRedShirtPhobia · 30/01/2018 10:33

Amanda appears to have huge personal strength and internal beauty, ShaneJ in comparison as a weaker character can only parrot an authoritative ideology upon others.

Youcanstayundermyumbrella · 30/01/2018 10:43

If I'm like Amanda when I'm 82, I'll be utterly thrilled.

badabing36 · 30/01/2018 10:44

I dunno I think there’s hope for Amanda and Ann. The majority of tweets I saw after Andrew’s little tantrum were agreeing with him, and yet he went out first in the triple eviction. Amanda to win!

picklemepopcorn · 30/01/2018 10:56

I'm going to miss this, but I won't miss that awful 'he's got her number/she's a dirty Gertie/I want him to win' pink Bingo nonsense.

LloydColeandtheCoconuts · 30/01/2018 10:58

I’ve just been watching a bit of BOTS catch up this morning. Andrew dresses like I did in my early 20s. Tbf I had great legs in my early 20s I wish I had known it then

LloydColeandtheCoconuts · 30/01/2018 11:01

I felt a bit sorry for Shane J though. I’d feel bad if people thought I was the least loyal or honest. But I suppose somebody had to be least.

picklemepopcorn · 30/01/2018 11:12

My parents were very anti gay in the 80's and 90's, as was the norm then. However, they were in a musical with a lot of gay people and suddenly discovered that Individuals were very nice. They started talking about 'those poor boys' etc.

My aunt startled me the other day- from the same drama/musical society, so very comfortable with gay men, yet she mentioned how odd she thinks it is to be a lesbian. She really doesn't get gay women at all. She hasn't met that many, as far as she knows, though my niece is married to a woman.

I'm interested in how Ann can meet lots of people, have lots of gay friends, but not have her principles undermined in the slightest. There's something unusual about having purely intellectual principles which are not undermined by personal preferences. My parents' tolerance for race and sexuality hovers around whether they like the people they have met most recently.

BringMeTea · 30/01/2018 11:14

Yes Ann in the diary room was, I think, C5 making sure they cannot be accused of misrepresenting her when a man dressed as a woman wins Year of the Woman. Ann herself was, I imagine, hoping that would be broadcast, and fair enough. I wonder if Shourtney was sincere when he expressed that he would feel wrong winning in Year of the Woman?

picklemepopcorn · 30/01/2018 11:15

I think Shane J's idea of honesty was different. He thinks expressing your opinions is honesty, rather than behaving in an open manner.

sheldonesque · 30/01/2018 11:15

I don't feel sorry for him at all Lloyd.

I feel he is a bit of a smiling assassin. Beautifully charming to your face. But he is a manipulative, duplicitous playground bully.

And he has such a foot soldier in Malika.

I do not care at all for their behaviour.

picklemepopcorn · 30/01/2018 11:16

Shourtney's disappointed me for having such an excellent understanding of feminism, but then living like a misogynist. Hanging out with the lads and ignoring sexist behaviour and 'banter', performing femininity.
