Chilly that's what I was saying yesterday. Football is a very strange and insular culture in which all the 'isms' and phobias are rampant even today, except for ageism amongst managers. Check out the abuse Sian Massey-Ellis endures when she makes decisions and yet when the abuse has been at its worst, she has been proven to be right.

It remains to be seen, I think, if the England Women's Football Team have a female manger this time around.

I noticed a couple of comments about johnny perhaps not being genuine and only sticking up for Ann because she was saved? I don't see how this would be a game plan for him as Andrew was also saved so going up against him wouldn't make him popular. Don't get me wrong I am not a fan of johnny (I watched love island) but I do believe he was being himself and is also fed up listening to Andrews voice

Remembered, while I'm we're toucing on sexism, did anyone else pick up on Ginuwine's parenting advice?

It was along the lines of if girls don't have a father present growing up then a lot of time they grow up 'freaks' and that fathers don't worry as much about their sons as their daughters and that's right and true.

In one fell swoop he's 'throwing shade' at women who through no fault of their own, grow up in single mother families, their mothers who apparently can't do a decent job of raising sane daughters, all sons and men who actually care about their boys as much as their girls.

The whole 'scripted reality' TV format has a lot to answer for imo, creating characters that real people have to go along with. Of course it's their choice, but it probably does totally misrepresent the actual person just as much as if they were playing a character in a soap.

No idea yet if Jonny's distancing himself because he isn't a big part of the Bantz Ladz Group or because he really has issues with them?

I think as critical observers we probably really don't give enough thought to how intense it must be living in that kind of situation, or how the available alcohol is ramped up according to BB's agenda
