MrsJayy I watched one series of Ex On The Beach but never watched again as it was gross. Watched roughly 3 episodes of Geordie Shore and hated it. But I LOVE Love Island and Celebs Go Dating.
It's like there's a fine line between being a bit silly and tongue in cheek, from being embarrassing and misogynistic.
Iain Stirling is a fabulous voiceover, and I think that makes a difference too. When the contestants are behaving badly, and the voiceover calls them out on it, they're not just getting away with it.

I didn't see Love Island either. For the same reasons MrsJayy
I read about some doing the deed in front of others and gave it a miss.

I'd rather subject myself to a night watching golf.

Aparently Love Island's final gave ITV2 its highest ever viewing figures and it was a surprise hit series. Personally I think it was just the reflex to uninspired summer programming.
