So Joe is the new lord of the manor, but who is Graham really.

Will this be the thread where Moira and Cain finally get back together

Will there be wedding bells for Bob and Brenda, I don't think so

Will Marlon and the head teacher get along nicely or will it end up going nowhere slowly until we all want to scream at the telly

What will Lachlan do next.....................................

He just had a Yorkshire accent. Because he's from Yorkshire. He was one of the very few with an actual Yorkshire accent!

LoveMySituation · 12/02/2018 19:21

Yes Groovy, Yorkshire accents seem very thin on the ground in the Dales Grin

Aaron saying Robert was 'screeching' was hilarious, as was Robert telling a crying Seb to 'relax' Grin Hmm

TattyCat · 12/02/2018 22:00

...please..spare a thought for us viewers down South and find an actor with a different accent...

Oh do bugger off and watch EastEnders... Grin

Eastie77 · 13/02/2018 08:59

I can't watch EE, I'm from E London and think it's dreadful!! The accents are mostly spot on but it's a right load of pony and trap Grin
I prefer the Northern soaps although haven't been able to watch Coronation Street properly for about a year - it's terrible atm.

I didn't realise most of the Emmerdale actors don't have a Yorkshire accent though. Who (from the current cast) has a genuine one?

Poor Brenda, Bob was only holding one passport so does that mean he's planning to leave her lumbered with the no longer so invisible twins?!

Interfering Harriet strikes again. Perhaps this is her new role, walking around with her lifeless hair, involving herself in people's lives and acting as the 'conscience' of the village

Rob & Aaron were adorable together with the baby.

Debbie is absolutely vile and I cannot understand Cain's refusal to call her out on her despicable behavior.

southeastdweller · 13/02/2018 09:28

There's a few actors from Yorkshire, the ones who play Tracey, Gerry and Jacob's departed friend Josh are from Bradford, Vanessa from Wakefield, and David is from Halifax.

(yes I'm bored).

MrsSteveMcDonald · 13/02/2018 09:42

I think I remember hearing that Cain and Victoria are from Oldham so would be more suited to being on Corrie

LoveMySituation · 13/02/2018 11:19

Robert is from Sheffield. That apart from what South said, is it I think. Victoria's from Salford, so definitely should be in Corrie Grin

LoveMySituation · 13/02/2018 11:26

Ooh! Just looked and Belle is from Selby (I'm bored too South!) Grin

JaneJeffer · 13/02/2018 11:28

Don't forget Doug; a proper Yorkshire man!

southeastdweller · 13/02/2018 11:29

And Gaynor Faye (Megan) is from Leeds.

JaneJeffer · 13/02/2018 11:35
When Charity first appeared she spoke like this Grin
LoveMySituation · 13/02/2018 11:47

Omg Jane, that is hilarious Grin What happened to get from that to current?!

LoveMySituation · 13/02/2018 11:56

I'm down south, but have no problem understanding any of the northern accents. Sounds like home to me. Although I have lived in Bradford so can understand any accent after that Wink

JaneJeffer · 13/02/2018 12:08

Well I grew up watching Mister 'erriot so I had some early training Grin

LoveMySituation · 13/02/2018 12:14

Ah, me too Jane Grin (courtesy of my dad, the very same one who last week referred to Sheffield as 'some godforsaken place in the north' Hmm I was furious Grin)

QueenDaisy · 13/02/2018 12:28

I liked how Graham confronted Cain & Debbie last night & wasn’t intimidated by Cain, go Graham.

Eastie77 · 13/02/2018 12:53

I need to know Graham's back story. It is driving me insane with curiosity. I wonder if they are related in some way. I remember Joe said to him a few weeks back words to the effect of "when I found you, you were on the streets".

JaneJeffer · 13/02/2018 12:55

I just love Graham. I can't take my eyes off him!

TattyCat · 13/02/2018 13:12

Is it me, or does Graham suddenly appear as though he needs a good wash? He was clean cut and smart a few weeks ago and now looks a bit ... grubby?

fireflame · 13/02/2018 17:53

I am loving Graham Smile

bonfireheart · 13/02/2018 18:10

Graham is unintentionally hilarious.

The "robert&aaron" bring up a baby together storyline couldn't be more obvious.

LoveMySituation · 13/02/2018 19:30

I hope not bonfire, I'd prefer they had their own, so it's equally theirs, not just Robert's Although that baby does make the cutest noises Grin

fireflame · 13/02/2018 19:38

God I wanna punch that Bob 😡😡😡😡

fireflame · 13/02/2018 19:40

Guessing laurel might hit the drink again 🙉

HereHoldMyDrink · 14/02/2018 07:57

Aaron holding the baby though -swoon.

Am I the only one that thinks Graham is too ott? I feel like he's channeling Liam neilson every time he talks.

Is bob planning on doing a runner?! Harriet is so annoying she banged on and on "I won't judge u can talk to me" then straight over to bob "Oo lance the poison" talk about puppet master.
